I just got in an order of stamping mask sheets and the stars mask from SC. I had placed it on top of a basket on the dryer. I have picked up the sheets 2-3 times in the last day or so as laundry has been done. I knew I needed to move them and just had not. So last night youngest DS was doing laundry. He switched over his last load and got it drying. I needed to throw in a last minute load this morning to have it before I left town this afternoon.

Just got in and remembered I had to switch over the clothes. DARK CLOTHES! As I am switching them over, I notice this kraft colored wet paper mess over all of them. I am furious and getting ready to yell at DS for leaving something in his clothes. Then I pull out a plastic pkg with a plastic sheet in there. It hit me. My 3 transfer sheets. My mask. The mask was saveable(is that a word). Nothing left of the sheets except for the backing. ALL.OVER.MY.CLOTHES!!! $6 down the drain and now I won't be able to get my Christmas cards made over the weekend.

Have you seen the stamping mask sheets at a Mikes or HL? I will be near both on Friday. Ohhhhh, I am still angry!!

Sorry to hear that! That sounds like a huge mess, and horrible timing. I don't get how they got in the laundry if they were in a basket, though. Did your son accidentally dump them in with the clothes? If so, then I don't think you are completely to blame, that may have been a little careless of him. Either way, I'm sending you a hug too!

Well, I didn't explain very well. It was not a basket of clothes to be washed. It was mostly stuff to go out to my scrap house with a couple of summer shirts that I knew I wouldn't need but had not put away. They were on top of the basket of clothes on top of the dryer. They would slide off of the clothes and stuff as the dryer would vibrate while running. He put his clothes in the dryer and started it up. I didn't turn the light on in the laundry room as I threw my stuff in and didn't check to see if the sheets were on top of basket or not. He did hear me ranting while I figured it all out and he did sincerely say he was sorry. I just don't think he did anything.

I'm so sorry! I hate doing stuff like this, and it seems like I do more often than not. I'm trying to make myself put things away as soon as I bring them in, but I hate going upstairs!!! I understand what you're going through, and I feel your pain!
