I have been kind of a nay-sayer on PL core kits. Why bother with them when I can use what is in my stash? I have the Clementine kit, and I really liked the look of it, but I haven't been that impressed with using it.
Nevertheless, I got sucked into the PL sale on Black Friday and bought the cherry core kit. I don't know why. But now that I have it, do I ever love that thing. The title cards are well designed, and I love that the journaling cards have dates on them. Had I owned this core kit, maybe I wouldn't have slacked for . . . six months.

I say better late than never, and good for you for giving it another shot. The Cherry core kit is really pretty. |

I think I know what you mean. It's like when I am trying to use papers/supplies that I don't love... I sit and look at it and hem and haw and nothing gets done. But give me some papers that just "feel right to me" and I am off and running with them!! Congrats on getting in the groove!!

I have both sets, and I still can't get into PL! In fact, I have every color but the yellow set. It's obviously just not my thing! |

Those who don't like their kits, please give me FIRST NOTICE when you put it on FSOT!!! I NEVER am on at the right time to get a good deal and I want to see if I am a PL gal at a great price! *Grin* |
