I bought myself Santa Sack 1 for Christmas. I didn't open it, it's going to go under the tree. I have been avoiding all descriptions of what is in it, so as to not spoil the surprise. I was thinking that I'd like to get some of the paper lines to go with the goodies in the box-but I still want to be surprised.

I came up with an idea...would one of you who got the week one sack be willing to do some ONLINE OA shopping for me? I would PayPal you the money, you pick out the papers that will match what's in the Santa Sack, and have it shipped to me, to put under my tree for Christmas morning.

Anybody wanna help a Pea?

**Edited for clarification**
You don't have to go to the store, buy it, and physically ship it. Just order it online, and have it shipped to me.

I didn't buy the sack so I'm no help there. But do you have a stash of OA? Because I believe their colors coordinate across collections so you should be able to mix and match successfully.

I don't have a stash of OA. I used up most of what I had on mini albums for the grandkids. I have a couple of sheets of Farmhouse and three partial sheets of Sidewalks. I am in "stash development mode."

May I slightly hijack this thread and ask how does one order a Santa Sack? Do you sign up for e-mails on the OA website so you KNOW when the sacks are coming out? I haven't spent much time on their website (and I'm not a trend follower) so someone enable me please!

So all week 1 sacks were the same? I thought they were different but had the same type of things. So everyone got 50 sheets of paper and 10 rub ons and 5 pieces of ribbon, but the pattern was different for everyone. And I know that is not what went into the sack, I was just using it as an example.

There are FIFTY sheets of paper in there??? It didn't seem heavy enough for that much paper...do you think I NEED extra paper for what's there....or should I just go for Santa Sack #3 on Monday??

Well now I don't know what to do. Should I have someone shop for me to round out Santa Sack 1 or should I order Santa Sack 3??? This may come down to a coin toss.

If the box had random pieces of each line I could see why u would want to do that
but its not....they give u multiple things within each line to make something

besides u will get more in the box for 40than u will get retail anywhere

I would just get another Santa Sack. I'm in the middle of trying to explain to my hubby why I need another one.

If you do decide to have someone shop for you I have a suggestion. There are several collections in this box with a few sheets of each collection. Did I explain that right? Well, anyway there are probably 5 or 6 collections in each box. I can't remember for sure. But if you want some stuff to go with what is in your box then you might tell your shopper some of your favorite collections and then your shopper could pick one that is in the box and shop for that collection.

Barb, I didn't order the SS, but I just signed up for their blog updates so I can check it out in the future, but can I just say what a cool idea that is!? I totally want a surprise for Christmas and I usually tell my husband what to buy so its not really a surprise because he will buy what I ask for. I love the idea of someone else shopping for me or even just wrapping up the santa sack. That is an awesome idea! I think I might do that!!

There's roughly 25 sheets in a SS (at least week 1). The previous poster was just using the numbers as an example.

I vote for getting another week! They really do mix well (at least the B sides do). If I weren't leaving for vacation I'd so order another. I just don't want it sitting around waiting for me to return.

Wow, all I can say is you must have a lot of self control to put something like that under the tree and not even peek at it! I can't tear into boxes fast enough, even when I know everything it will contain. ROFL!

Can I vote both? Of course you need extras with the first sack, and you don't want to miss out on the third sack. Right?

I've decided to go with Santa Sack 3...and then for my birthday in March, I'll have one of you fine volunteers round it out for me for a birthday surprise box.
