I am part of a Stampin Up club and for Christmas we draw names and buy that person 7 five dollar or less gifts and then one gift that is up to $15. We fill out a form and that helps the person buying us gifts. Then we open one gift every day for the 7 days before Christmas and then the big gift on Christmas. I can only come up with one and that is a $5 gift card to stabucks. I am overthinking this but I have family all weekend and my group is meeting on Monday evening. Here is her list: I would love some ideas:

colors: earthtones and neutrals
types of places you like to eat: Starbucks, Einsteins and DazBog
snacks: nuts, popcorn (regular) flavored coffees, dark chocolate
Scent: For home, most
hobbies: cooking, grandkids, camping, hiking, fishing
collections: original picasso's and monet paintings
little things you have been hoping for: candles (seasonal scents) Stampin Up embellishments
book: current bestsellars

Thanks for the help,

Candie

do you absolutely have to go by that list? Here are some ideas:

lipstick or real pretty lipgloss
nail polish
cute fuzzy socks
gift card to Sonic (love their Happy Hour)
a candle from B&BW or scentsy blocks
pens (I LOVE pens)

Is your Christmas thingy for scrapbook stuff or regular stuff.Like she likes camping, maybe some camping, outdoors and cooking embellishments. So she can have a stash to scrap her outdoor and camping trips. Or some dark chocolate covered nuts if you can find it. Holiday candels...

The cookie cutter idea is good since she likes cooking and her grandkids!!!

I am doing this:

Starbucks $5
Sonic Gift card
Bath and Body Works ( although she doesn't like strong floral or "sweet" body scents. ????????
Dove Dark Chocolate with Almonds
Nice Cookie Cutter
Warm fuzzy socks
?????????
Yankee Candle for big gift

I need one maybe two more ideas. Thanks for the suggestions. They are great!!!

I need one more idea.

Target usuallyy has flavored coffees in their dollar section at this time of year & they are very good. You could get an assortment of those for one of the $5 days.
Christmas type cookie embellishments - fun sprinkles and gels for decorating cookies with the grand kids.

You could get her one of those small size-or a few of them-of the flavored coffee grounds. Target usually carries them, and so do a lot of grocery stores.

I think your list looks really good!

Since she lists fishing as one of her hobbies, how about a box of
Swedish fish candy and a fishing lure? Does SU have gift cards?
How about a book mark (handmade) along with a book store gift card.
Perhaps one of those 3 packs of Perfect Pearls, Stickles or
Mists in earth tones. Good luck, sounds like a fun swap.

Just had to say that this on her list made my eyes pop:

collections: original picasso's and monet paintings

Maybe you could get her a postcard of one from a museum gift shop & put it one of those pretty dollar bin frames for her desk?

What about a $15 gift card to Amazon as the final gift?

Do you think that is a good gift?

Well, the original poster is from Colorado. There are some pretty pricey digs in some of those ski resort towns. Maybe it was a joke, maybe it wasn't. I sure wouldn't make it general knowledge, though, unless I had a Mission Impossible worthy security setup. LOL

And yes, Ladybug, a gift card to Amazon is always a good idea--they sell everything now! Have fun with your swap!

Ladybug4233, I like the idea of an amazon gift card. So many wonderful book, music, crafty or deal of the day choices. Hope you enjoy your swap. You'll have to update us, later.
