I went to Ms today and they had a few atgs on clearance for 11.24. The package said "no tape" so these are fine but I have to buy the refills for it to work right? Seems like an obvious question but I just wasnt sure so I thought I would ask here. Is that a good deal then also?

Will I ever get to Buckethead?!

I bought mine 50% off, and it comes with 2 refills, last week. I guess if you used your 40% off coupon on refills you'd come out about the same if you bought a new one?

It's a good deal because regardless of whether it comes with tape or not, you'll still need to buy more down the road. $11.24 for the machine is the best price I've seen.

Yes, you will need to buy tape. I'm one of those slobs who doesn't care about technical properties, and buys the $1.35 a roll stuff from Tape Depot.
