I bought a black 12x12 (already have 1) and it is exactly the same. I wondered the price, too. But the Project Life albums are also made by WRMK and sold for $20 | |

I bought 2 at Target and they seem exactly the same quality as those I've bought elsewhere.
The packaging is different for WRMK stuff sold at Target and Michaels but as far as I can tell, the quality has all been the same so far. |

None of the WRMK's albums are real leather. They are all faux. They're the exact same. My guess on the pricing is that at M's you can use a
Coupon on the albums this lowering the price. Target doesn't have that option. |

The refills are exactly the same, just different packaging.
I usually buy a bunch of albums when JoAnn's has them half off online. They usually have free shipping over $50 or $100 at the same time, so if you get a bunch, it's a great deal. |

I am so jealous reading all this. I just bought my first WRMK albums and I was so excited to buy them for $42 each!! If I spend over $100 I get free shipping so I'm about to order some more. I bought lime green and I think I'm going to get an orange one and a few yellow ones to match!

The same as far as I can tell. Michael's had albums 50% off for Black Friday plus 20% off additional coupon so I paid $10 an album and bought five!

Yes, all of the albums are faux leather and all appear to be of the same qualtiy. I'm sure the difference is that at Michael's they are often on sale or can be bought with a coupon. | |

If you have an AC Moore..they have an excellent selection of WRMK albums and I get them on the rare occacion that they have a 60% off. I did see them at Target and they are the same. My M had very few and they all had defects!! |

I recently purchased a WRMK 12 x 12 album at Target and it seems every bit as nice as the ones I'd purchased at joanns.com.
Has Michaels always carried WRMK? I've never seen them at my Michaels. Sure would love to have the opportunity to get that 70% discount!  | |

I found them at the M's in Santa Rosa. They are not in the album section, they were/are on an end cap by frames. |

They appear to be the same. As other posters have said, T isn't a promotional store ( no big coupons like M's) so they have an everyday lower price. |

FYI at my michael's in seattle they were on an endcap and not with the regular albums nor on the endcap where the albums were so it might be worth looking in non-traditionall places for it. They had about 6 different colors.

My Target and ACMoore has the 12 X 12, but the Michael's by me only has them in 6 X 6. |

They are the same. I think they price them that way at Target b/c Michael's inflates prices for coupons (like Kohl's and Hobby Lobby).
FWIW, I wouldn't count on getting them at Michael's on sale. Thanksgiving weekend I drove 30 minutes to the Michael's that carries them and was told (by the manager) that the sale didnt include D-rings!! Even though the sign and ad didn't specify. | |

LongHorn Mom - I think M's has not made any new friends (shoppers) lately as I think shoppers were getting very mixed messages across the company during Black Friday weekend. I bought two WRMK albums on Thanksgiving under the buy 1 get 1 free sale and also used a 25% total purchase coupon. Then I went back on Saturday and bought three more at 70% off.
What I want to know is why would they offer such a steal on them if they weren't going to do it company wide? |

The WRMK albums at my Michael's rang up full price during the 50% off albums sale. I questioned the cashier, and she gave me the discount, but I wonder if they're going to exclude them from sales and coupons in short order. Better stock up! | |
