I have never used the Print and Cut feature on the Silhouette before. I am hoping some Peas can help me out...
I downloaded a set of tags that are Print and Cut. I would like to add text to them, in which I want printed along with the design on the tag. I know how to add text but that ends up being cut b/c it is outlined in red. HOW do I add the text to be printed instead???
Thank you!

You have to turn the cut lines off in the software - select your text and there is an icon in the top row that is for cut lines - make sure that it says "no cut". |

How do I change or ensure the text I have is the color I want, which is black? | |

I'm at work so I can't see the software and although I've done this a dozen times it's hard to go from memory ... but I think there is a box beside the cut line that is for the line colour - if that's not it, then it's probably within the text feature. |

Ok, thanks - I got that figured out.
Now when it comes to the printing and cutting... When I am ready for the print portion, do I just go to file>print? Or is there a certain way I have to do this?
When it comes to the cutting, do I just put in paper and "send to Silhouette" as I usually would? If not, could you please list what I need to do?
Thanks! | |

You need to make sure you have the registration marks on so that when the image prints on your printer, it also prints the registration marks. They are what the Silhouette reads when you load the paper into it so it knows where to cut. Once you are ready to print, you can click the printer icon in your Silhouette software and it should send the image to your software. Then you load the paper into your machine as usual and hit cut. Your machine will look for the registration marks and should then cut. |

Sorry for the dumb question, but what do the "registration marks" look like? |

I figured out the "registration marks" but my text is not printing... What am I doing wrong? |
