I've been researching this machine for quite a few months & have only read rave reviews. I called an Archivers and it's still on sale for $150. I have a Cricut that I still want to keep but I'd really like this machine because I think it will be better suited to use with SVG cuts. I do have SCAL2 but I think the eClips will be easier to use. Help me decide....

It cuts much much better than a Cricut - I have both : )

I LOVE mine! It's been great to make my own cuts & also use their cartridges. I also just bought a Stamp2Cut cartridge and it works pretty well.

It cuts through paper like butter! And it doesn't snag the paper like my Cricut did.

@pinkforever, I don't have an Archivers close by either. They aren't in Florida so if I purchase one it will be over the phone & will be shipped to me.

Thanks for the reviews. Just trying to justify the purchase before Christmas.

I would recommend the eClips, for two reasons, use can use 3rd party software and also have the option of not being tied into a computer to use it. I really wish Sizzix came out with a long time ago, I would never had bought the cricut machines. I was a die hard sizzix fan, still have my collection, but I found it difficult to find any dies, Joanns & Michaels hardly carried any. Was getting expensive for me to have items shipped from Sizzix.

Ok, I bit the bullet and bought one. I'm so excited and can't wait to get it.

You're going to love it! I have one and it is GREAT! I also owned a Cricut Expression with SCAL2 at one point (years ago) and it cuts SVGs (and everything else) a million times better. I use it so much more than I ever used my Cricut.

I am sure I would love it but I can't buy it since I have a Cameo and an Expression.
