I do like the immediate access you get, but I still prefer a hard copy. I bought a digital mag once and still ended up buying the hard copy. So I don't buy too many digital mags unless that is the only option. |

I think that Scrapbooks and Cards is free to download and read.
*Just checked and it is still free. |

No, I like paper. I rarely buy them though because of the price. Michaels won't take coupons anymore and JoAnn puts them 10% off almost all the time so can't use a coupon.
My library gets a few (CK, Papercrafts. and Scrap and Stamp Arts) but I'm not a fan of them even though I'll check them out anyway. |

Ok, it's official. I just tried looking at it online and it sucks (not the magazine - being online). I cannot get into it. I didn't even finish flipping through.
Nope, nope, nope. |

I really dislike online magazines. I won't subscribe even if they are free. I LOVE my hard copies! |

I'm right there with you on the hardcopies. Same with paper layouts. My world is electronic enough; I love some down time with paper--books, newspaper, magazines, scrapbooks, cards, ephemera .....
I laughed out loud at my self when I said ephemera. | |

Thanks for the reminder! I didn't know there was a new issue out.
I agree that it's so hard to read a magazine on the computer screen. It's impossible to view the entire page and if you zoom out to get an overview, the text is too small to read so you have to zoom back in. Ugh.
I put the pdf files on my iPad instead (I use the GoodReader app) and they are so much easier to read on the tablet. Plus - I can add notes and highlights to the pages in that app, if something on a page catches my eye. So, as long as I can put them on the iPad, I'm fine with digital magazines. Especially when they're free.
