First, I love the packaging detail. Just opening the box to find a twine wrapped kraft colored bag with a "welcome tag" and extra stamp set was exciting

Then to receive the studio calico roller date stamp 1 and a new to me ink is just awesome.

The snowflake wood veneers and mirror stars have been eyeballed by both kids, so I think we will have to wrestle for them.

I am not too interested in the wood look, but am excited to have received my first set of thickers. I wonder if I will become an addict?

Bling, decorative tags, another stamp set, pp, cardstock and 2 fibers round out the kit.
I love it!! I will see if I actually use it before I subscribe though.

I also ordered 1 month to try out studio calico and compare. Looking forward to that kit as well

I'm on the waitlist to subscribe to the Citrus Twist PL kit starting in January -birthday gift from my husband - and am so excited! This will be my first subscription in years.

Oh I forgot, I am on the waitlist for this too. Those were the 3 I tried to see if I am a subscription person!

I'm confused It sounds like you are describing the December main kit, but I thought kits didn't start shipping until the 15th of the month. Did that change?

I think mine might have said December Kit. I am sorry I don't know anything about shipping dates as this is my first time.

I promise I am not a designer. Just a wanna be scrapper after years of dabbling. I ordered my first kit and this is what I opened in the mail.

I didn't know it was a huge deal. ACK

I don't think it's a huge deal (and I certainly don't mean to upset you or anything like that)! Mostly I was just hopeful that she started sending the kits out earlier, I want mine now!

I am really surprised though. I thought ALL new kits started shipping on the 15th of the month, that just seems like the fairest thing to do for all customers (non-subscribers and subscribers). I am definitely jealous that you get to play with the kit now and I need to wait another week

Maybe they started shipping this month earlier due to the holidays?

just guessing and I have no idea as I know nothing about the kit world.

I'd love to see a comparison between Citrus Twist and Studio Calico. Is there a lot of overlap? How's the customer service at Citrus Twist?

The customer service is EXCELLENT. Honestly Trina is the greatest.
The kits have a completely different look than SC. You should check out their website.

I'm not a big christmas scrapper so my fav thing about the Dec Main kit is all the b-side neutrals and the woodgrains.
Love to know the two kits work out for you

Hi there, Trina here from Citrus Twist. We received quite a few requests to ship kits early upon billing this month (because of the holidays, travel, etc.)

Because of this, for this month we are shipping kits as recurring billing comes through.

January will continue with shipping beginning on the 15th.

Email me if you have questions. We are always happy to hear from our customers.

And Clee321, we're happy you enjoyed opening your first kit!

Trina
