Today is my second day off from work until Jan. 7th! I have to drive into town to pick up my prints and then I can come home and start working on my Christmas album! YAY! I'm so excited because I haven't really scrapped since summer. I'm going to work on Christmas party and parade pictures. Last night I cleaned and reorganized my scrap space so I am set to go! What about you guys? | |

I'll be working on my December Daily today - need to print pics and assemble Tues, Wed, Thurs of this week. I'm hoping to get to some PL updating too but, am not sure there will be time leftover.
My toddler will also be painting ornaments for his grandparents  |

Me too! This is my 3 day weekend off. I work Christmas Eve and Day next week. Today, I am going to work on our Cabo San Lucas, MX album from our trip the first week of December. I have 2 pages done and posted, but many more to go. |

I will be painting picture frames so I can put my "free holiday printables" that I've collected and printed in them. Then I will be handing them out at my New Years Eve party as party favors.

I am off to work then "An All Evening Baking Event" with just the sisters My husbad is gonna hang my cubes tonite though and I am organizing my entire scraproom so that I can be ready for my Pl by Christmas.

I am going upstairs while DGS is napping and cutting out his name for the blocks I am making him for Christmas...better late then never, right. I need to find pics for them too & mod-podge it all on the blocks. If I don't get it done today while he is here, I'll finish up tonight.

Maybe. I am expecting a new delivery of photos today, so that might get me motivated.
I'm hoping to go out and do something fun later so I'll photos to use on an LO about the day the world was supposed to end, but if this nasty wind and rain keep up maybe I'll just stay in and scrap this evening.
I scrapped almost an entire 10 page mini album and a regular 12" by 12" LO yesterday, which used up a lot of my stash, so I feel like I've done quite a bit for this week already! | |

I have a layout for the "start here" workshop color challenge on my desk, but have been stuck for a couple of days!
Think I will go back to making fair ribbons for my Christmas decorations and tags/cards/bows for wrapping.

I am still on bedrest, until Monday, but have been sneaking into my scrap room after trips to the bathroom, etc., and getting little things done quickly. I finished a layout that has been 75% complete for almost a year this week, and this morning, I started to finish one that has been 50% complete since June. So, yes, but in 2-3 minute bursts spread out over the whole day.  It's mostly silhouette cuts left at this point, and everything's ready, so I imagine the rest of my day will be loading the mat and lying back down...repeatrepeatrepeat. |

I'm working on a styrofoam CHristmas tree. I cut 1 in by 6 in strips and pin them as loops onto the tree to make the leaves. |

Well... I'm getting a late start. I met up a friend for lunch and helped her do a little shopping (since she has a little one). I picked up my prints and scored a Ottlite craft caddy on clearance at Walmart for $19!!! YAY! I needed one so bad because the lighting in my room is horrid!
Now I'm going make some pumpkin coffee and I'll be set to play!! Thanks for joining me today! | |

Have a couple of weeks off and ready to play!
Working on a couple of last minute gifts to finish off and driving tomorrow. Will spend a few days helping my daughter and granddaughter work in their Dec Daily, prepping for OLW 2013 and CHA projects, should keep me from getting bored.

I am working on photo editing and a digital page for now. My FIL just got in and I did not have the time to drag out all the papers stuff from my corner cubby. Hoping that tomorrow will allow me some time to do some paper scraps. |

The kids are going to put together the ginger bread house and make fudge. I think both are picture worthy. DD has an ear infection, so we are stuck in the house. |

I finished sewing the signatures for a new journal last night, and I plan to glue them to the covers today (an old cabinet card photo album).
I also have a layout I started that needs a bit more embellishing and journaling.
Then I have to continue working on packing up my scrap stuff for the renovations we are starting in January. I need to condense down to a really tiny stash that I can work out of for the next six months or so. Ugh. |

I just finished a glass locket for my daughter. I saw the idea on Pinterest and thought she would like it. It's a glass, double- sided pendant with a snippet of the lace from my wedding gown, a pearl button and a lace frog that went over the buttons. On the back side there is a teeny pic of dh and me on our wedding day.
We've been married 41 1/2 years.
I found the locket on UncommonGoods.

I'm making my thank you notes for school.
The parents in my class were unbelievably kind and generous this year. One of the moms organized a class gift, but many of the families still gave individual gifts so I have quite a few thank you notes to make!
