In what way(s) have you been a "naughty" scrapper this year? In what way(s) have you been "nice"?

+ I have made amends with glitter this year. We now coexist peacefully.
+ I have taken the time to make hand-made cards and haven't purchased a single store-bought card this year.
+ I actually started scrapping my "bucket list" of layouts, and have pushed past the intimidation and fear of "messing it up."

- All year, my scrap desk has been in a constant state of chaos. I just.don't.clean.
- Every TV table in the house now has colored rings on it from where I set down inky bottles of mist while watching TV.
- There are some products that I just HAD to have that are still sitting in their packaging.

Can I just copy your list?

* I've upped my production of layouts and had to actually order more pictures.
* I finished 1 scrapbook. (Yes, that is good for me.)
* I hand-made all of my cards this year.
* I stopped saving the "good paper" and just cut into everything I have.

* My scrap desk is a mess. My storage containers are a mess. It scares me to even think about organizing it all again.
* My scrappy purchases went through the roof. Though I've produced more, my scrapbook stuff keeps piling up faster than I'm using it.

-I've made a LOT more projects than I did last year
-I figured out a way to organize my supplies that works well for me

-I have not finished (read: barely touched) my stamp organization. It's working fine for now, but as my collection grows it will be hard to find what I want without finishing this.
-I haven't replaced my camera, which broke a couple months ago. I've been relying solely on my camera phone.

- Buying more than I have time to use (especially kits)

- Not completing projects I start (OLW was a total wash out for me)

- Clutter. My scrap stuff is a mess and I have repurchased things I already own because I can't find where something is.

Perseverance. Even though I got way behind on PL, I didn't give up

Photos. I keep taking them (and even print some out) so I have them to scrap when I get the time.

Hand made cards. This year I've given out more hand made cards than store bought - a huge accomplishment for me.

Sharing. I'm blessed to have a nice stash of supplies and I've gone out of my way to do RAKs to "spread the love"

I haven't spent much on my scrappy addiction, a-hem, I mean, hobby.

I finished over a hundred layouts this year.

I'm in a rut. All my layouts look the same too me, and it's sucking away my mojo and desire to scrap.

LOL, Jill! Saw your 'oops' on the Stamping forum & tracked you down.

Don't do much acrappin', but my naughties & nices are pretty close to those I see on this thread.

Thanks for stopping by the 'wrong' board. Hoping a few fellow StamPeas will visit with scrappers over the holidays.

I have reorganized a scrap area and I love set up I've had so far.
I haven't created as much as I wanted to by far, but I do love what I have made.
I have bought more of what I want, regardless of if it cost more, and less of the "stuff" that I don't use as much. Quality over quantity.
Biggest thing is I really wanted to make a couple of mini books for some friends who mean alot to me, and that just didn't happen.

-reorganized my layouts and albums

-carved out time to scrapbook, after Bubby went to bed at night or during naptime on weekends, even went to a couple of crops and let DH know that would be a priority for me and my sanity

-utilized my Silhouette fully! It's a habit now, I'm using it on almost all my layouts, I'm glad, I want to justify that 2 yr old purchase. I also managed my sub well, I think. I got the basic, tried to buy the most versatile shapes, on clearance, sales, and at BF. and I have plenty, so I won't be renewing.

-didn't fix the handful of falling off letters or missing dates OR label the albums once reorganized.

-STILL can't get my act together on the whole sending cards thing. I make a few but don't send them, even!

-bought lots of pretty least lots for me...still need to use them though!

-stayed on track with my albums and made quite a few fun minis

-bought WAY.TOO.MUCH STUFF! Went from one rolling tote to the largest expedit, 12 drawers of paper and more in less than two years

I am a project lifer. That's why I am taking so many pictures.....

Nice: made 3 December daily albums this year and didn't spend anything on them

Purged a lot of older paper and my DGD is loving all her 'new' paper as are the daisy girl scouts in her troop

Made loads of cards and didn't buy a single store bought card this year

Spent less than $100 on supplies the entire year

Naughty: didn't scrap as many layouts as I wanted to

Didn't finish a beautiful pink and black album I'm making for DGD

*I made a ton of pages this year! I think I finally found my style and niche in scrapbooking because of this forum and I'm so happy with the way I'm documenting things now.

*I used up tons of my paper stash.

*I finally purged a ton of products (I only did paper in the past) that I just don't use. Mainly stamps and mists. I will now never even be tempted to buy those again. I just don't enjoy using them and that's ok.

*I have been much better about cleaning up this year!

*I'm no longer holding on to scraps of paper or half used sticker sheets. I throw them away. I have too much brand new stuff to be hanging on to things half used that I'll never look at again.

*My scrapbook storage is a disaster. Part of my "cleaning up" seems to just include taking random items and piling them up in a random spot.

*I spent way too much money on supplies. I felt that since I was using so much of my stash it was ok to buy.

*I still have not started a special project I bought everything to do in 2008. I've been putting it off for four years! I have the albums, photos, paper, cardstock and embellishments all set aside. No reason not to have even started it!

I started scrapping again as a way to reduce the size of my paper and cardstock stash. In so doing I've more than quadrupled it. My biggest scrapping additions are the Slice, the Big Shot, and the office-sized big arm paper cutter. I don't know where I'll put it away, if I ever do put it away.

I haven't cleaned off my dining room table since February. Lucky for me I live alone and can eat off of one side of the kitchen table. But there were a couple of times I could have invited people over and didn't because of the clean-up factor.

I buy stuff and use it once just to try it (Slice design cards and Spellbinders dies and embossing folders, mostly), or I don't use it at all and just add it into the mix on the table-top.

I decided I was going to go into card-making in a big way for the Church bazaar, and only made 3 dozen cards in 4 months. Then I didn't even give them to the bazaar to sell because there were so few of them. Oh, and my purchases of stuff to make cards insured that each card cost over $10 to make. (Doing the math yet? Scary.)

I finally got serious about sorting and scanning old pictures in boxes.

I have done more pages in 2012 than I did in 2004 and 2005 together. And I didn't scrapbook at all from 2007 to 2011. So I really am sort of on a roll. Kind of.

I let go of the notion I had in my head that all pages had to be elaborately embellished, just like the ones in the magazines. Even when I had the notion I never was able to pull it off, anyway.

I forgive myself for sometimes doing a "slap-and-scrap". Now that I've scanned the pictures there is nothing so permanent that it can't be redone If I ever want to take the time. (Only one page comes to mind and it involves lavender and bright orange paper, and pictures cut into shapes.)

I stopped stashing fabric.

Naughty: I keep forget to bring it over to my parents'. It was for their anniversary last month!

Nice: I've averaged 2-3 layouts a week...ALL. YEAR. LONG.

Naughty: I haven't put them all into albums yet. sigh.

I have been "Naughty" enough to get pl this year -and-
I have not gotten off of this site long enough to scrap
but ---------------
I have been "Nice" enough to share my scrap supplies with family and friends.
I also used my time to create Christmas items for my sister and some friends too.
Hoping santa uses the "Balance scale" graciously
this year.

I've gotten alot accomplished with my custom orders, and customers.

I've put together two huge scrapbooking kits to give to a friend, so she could give them to her grand daughters, since she has NO money for gifts this year. We're also doing a "punch day" where the girls can come over to my scrap room and use my punches to build up their stash. I am hoping this makes them scrapbookers!

Donated a couple of my pretties to various fundraisers.

Have been very good w/the scrapbook budget this whole year and have not gone overboard at all. (this is huge!)

I started a blog!

I only have one post on that blog. But I'll be more diligent at the beginning of the year. I promise! (ha ha)

My scrapbook room is a pit. I keep telling myself it's part of the creative process but know I'm just bullshatting myself.

(do you see how I make excuses for all my naughty habits? )
