So now that the new year is creeping so close and Project Life will be starting very soon how are you organizing your PL stash? Keeping it with your regular supplies? In a container on your desk? Super duper categorized and now you want to come organize mine?

I'm working this week on unearthing my desk from the disastrous state it is in and setting up a tiny area. Thinking of using a set of Alex drawers from Ikea just for PL stash. Or throwing it all in a basket

I just emptied DD out of my Raskog cart and started getting PL supplies organized in there instead.

2013 will be my first PL year and I am super excited!!

So here in my org:
1. Expedit shelf right behind cart- decorated bill sorter holds all my pens, 4x6 cards and large rolls of twine.
2. Top Raskog shelf- 3 compartment drawer sorter from target (each section in 4" wide) holds 3x4 journal cards, 3x4 phrase cards, 3x4 PP cards. At the back of each section for now I have smaller ceramic storage for little bits.
3. Middle Raskog shelf- chicken wire basket holding stamp sets
4. Bottom Raskog shelf- various BH plastics and my rings of mini letter stickers.

I am ready!!

I am a project lifer. That's why I am taking so many pictures.....

I do love all of the organizing posts I've been seeing via Pinterest. For 2012, I just put a bunch of things I thought I'd use in a 12x12 iris case and my journaling cards in a small box and went from there. It worked for me because I could bring my case out to our table and work. Plus I limited what I used and I felt like I could get my pages done. I'm looking forward to 2013 and curious how others are tackling this project.

i've been kind of wondering the same - i've "collected" 3 core kits, several packs of grid cards, and lots of little odd 'n ends...

I'm not sure, but I just spent this afternoon cutting cards to size (I'm doing 8.5x11, so I needed 3.5x2.625" cards), and I can see how storing them in a huge hassle... especially with any degree of organization.

I have a cube in my expedit dedicated to PL. I also use those 4x6 Iris plastic photo cases to hold my journaling cards. I like to mix all the cards up and pull them out randomly to journal. Also, makes for easy traveling to a crop, etc.

That's a great idea about using iris type cases! Love the mobility in that.

@Jaimeelynn--girl, you sound organized and ready to go! Love it

Suzyplant - thanks for sharing! What are the "bins" that fit inside the larger box?

i might pick up some bathroom organizers from target or have dh make me something...

I'm using the same system that I set up for 2012, since it worked so well for me.

My Project Life Tray

Admittedly, it has a lot more stuff in it, now, but everything else has remained the same.

Has anyone organized their PL cards within the actual page protectors?

I've just started making my own cards from my stash, and I'm going to try this out. I've got a 2 page spread per color right now (may have to increase this as I make/gather more cards) - so 2 pages for red, 2 for orange, etc. I put around 25-30 page protectors in my album to get ready for 2013, so about the last 8 or so now are being used as storage.

It lets me see at a quick glance all my options within a certain color. I've only just started the card creation process though, so maybe just 100 cards or so. I'll see how it goes.
