Has anyone switched from traditional scrapbooking to the WRMK dividers for your scrapbooks? I know you can still incorporate traditional pages which is why I'm thinking of changing. Are you happy you made the change? Any regrets? Any layouts you can share? |

I switched from the post to the hinge strap to WRMK and have not looked back. I love there albums and there page protectors. I love them because they fit perfect in the album and doesn't hang outbox the album, the protectors are clear, and l/o are easy to get into the protector.
can't say enough good about them!

I switched over this year. I'm so glad that I did. They look more pleasing to the eye. And if you want to take a page out you can. No unscrewing. |

I think I misunderstood the question... I think you are asking about using the divided page protectors which come in a variety of configurations. Is that right?
I bought them for PL and never finished it, so I have tons of the diveded page protectors in all the different ways they come... I don't really like them
I WILL use them to add pictures (I think) to my traditional 12x12 LOs though. To me, the little spaces in the various protectors aren't enough space to allow me to get my "creative" out |

I love the versatility of mixing traditional layouts and divided page protectors in the same album. I can get a lot more done and like the look of mixed pages.

That's what I was thinking, slkant...there are times when I don't really want a 12x12 layouts so I thought this might be a good alternative. Now if I can find one. A's is having trouble getting them from WRMK. |

I mix it up and I love it!!
for me it works best for a big event like a kids birthday - ill do a layout or two of the photos I think best tell the story on 12x12 and then use divided protectors for other photos I want to include and maybe extra journaling or memorabilia

I've been mixing up true 12x12 pages with divided protectors for years and love the look. |

Yes, I do both, and love both! I do divided for quicker scrapping, and 12x12 for more creative stuff. I'll try to take some pics tomorrow of some I've done. |

As of January 1, I will be moving toward this system. I have used a couple of the divided ones in the past to add extra photos, and loved it. I will also be incorporating 8 1/2 x 11 ones into my 12x12 album for things like youngest DD's awards and artwork. For the first time in a couple of years, I am seriously thinking I will get a whole album out of the year. |

Luv my son, I use WRMK (the BH ones just looked like glossy cardboard to me).
I'll let you know once I post pictures. These are 10-minute pages, so nothing like you'll see on those amazing blog posts of people who make them into works of art. |

Thanks for all of the replies! I'm going to make the transition as soon as I find a WRMK binder. |

Does anyone use the divided pages in the 8x10 size? I was thinking it might be cool to do a small album using these. Not even sure if they sell them.

Learhea...if you have an Archivers near you, they carry 8.5x11. Had a lot of those in stock but not 12x12. |

Luv my son, I posted some in the gallery for you - it says "Image coming soon" but if you scroll through, you'll see them (it was having issues uploading).
I didn't take a picture of everything I've done, but tried to get a good representation of different styles. Most are WRMK, but at least one is BH.
The one that is a grid of 9 4x4 images was fun - I created my own journaling card in the middle with washi tape wrapped around scrap paper.
Anyway, it's a great way to quickly capture memories and I'm so glad to have discovered them! |

I've been "mixing" since 2011 and it works great for me. We are empty nesters, so no longer have many LOs of family stuff. But dh and I have several getaways a year and love to travel. So I use the divided pps for trips (except the really blockbuster trips) and mix them with LOs of our usual holidays and such. Makes a fun annual album in a WRMK binder. When we were raising our family, typically I did one vacation book and one rest of the year book each year.
OH, I also enjoy using multiple formats and sizes of page protectors in my book. Like if I only have 5 more photos to go--then a 6x12 with one journaling card is in order. I moved my kids' albums to WRMK and then if there's an award letter or something like that...into an 8.5x11 it goes, between two 12x12s. Fits my progress so much better! |
