I took a 6 month hiatus of scrapbooking because My ex and I broke up after 5 years. I just took my scrapbooking stuff out and threw out our pictures, but I have tons of other pictures I want to scrap. However, for some reason, I am going through a creative block and I want to scrap but for some reason don't feel inspired. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips?

First I would try a challenge or a prompt to get you started, especially something that is "out of the box" for your from your previous style when you made pages of you and the ex. If you have photos of the past 9before the ex) that you have been needing to scrap you might start there. I found page sketches work really well for me. I can put the pages together without even having a the photos, gets me back in to the creative process, but I don't need to worry about the subject matter at the time. Then as you go through photos you'll find photos that will work and you can add title and journalling then.

When that happens to me I will take a sketch and use that as a starting point. OR go through the gallery and find a layout you love and use it for inspiration. Another thing that helps me is to make up a few page kits...playing with your papers and embellies sometimes will get you going too. Start with photos that you really are interested in scrapping. Good luck!
