Unable to retrieve or process he device upgrade manifest. Check your Internet connection or contact customer support of assistance.
My internet connection was excellent, so that wasn't the problem. I had no other programs running. I had disabled my antivirus and firewall.
It is Saturday night. I don't know if that makes a difference, or if a lot of people are accessing the Cricut site.
Has anyone gotten this kind of message when trying to update your Gypsy? Was there a fix, or do I just have to call customer service on Monday?
In a way I'm a bit relieved, since if it can't update, there is no risk to my Gypsy, but I can't use my Artiste cart with my Gypsy till I do. |

What software is your computer running for the update? I think I got that error message when I used the GypsySync software. When I ran the CricutSync program my Gypsy updated just fine. |

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've been using the Cricut Sync software.
Apparently I needed to update Adobe Air, and I had told it not to, thinking it was just an ordinary update for something else.
And I had to tell my antivirus software to make the CCRBridge an exception.
So it's finally updating, but taking forever and ever. |

Yep, Adobe Air does need to be updated then things should be fine. I think you're probably updated by now as I'm just now seeing the message. I hope all is well. | |

Well, at 1:30 a.m. I finally decided to stop it and try again this morning. It's supposedly installing the content now.
I don't plan to buy any more cartridges at this point, and had it not been the "Artiste" cart, I doubt that I would have bothered to update.
I am hoping that everything goes well. I have time this morning to just let it continue and hopefully finish the update. |

I hope your update went well. I don't have a Gypsy, but I hated doing the updates when I had the Design Studio software. | |

Thank you, Donna. It took an extremely long time, but it did update, and I was able to use the Artiste cartridge on my Gypsy this morning after updating. |

Glad your update worked. I love both of the CTMH carts, and I use them with my Gypsy all the time. |
