I know how much everyone loves a scrap room, even a small one, so I wanted to let you know that I updated the pics of my scrap closet today for the new year. I hope you like it!

TFS

Looks like a perfect spot to create and demonstrates it is possible to have a functional workspace in any amount of room.

Thanks for showing us your creative space Aeryn. I'm so jealous of how well everything is organized and labelled. And you made it all look pretty too.
What are the pretty little jars in the drawer with your tape gun and paper trimmer? They are such bright little spots of color!
I think I'm going to be moving into a smaller space this year and this will give me so many ideas to help me organize. Thanks again, Maria

Thanks, gals, I'm glad you like my space!

Maria - in the drawer with my ATG gun and trimmer is a small case of sponge daubers I use with my inks. It's basically a smaller version of the Tim Holtz sponge tool that's commonly used by Glitter Girl. The daubers fit on your finger and make it easier to get ink in small spaces. Since I have a small collection of ink Dew Drops I have a dauber for each colour. HTH!

Thank you Aeryn. What a great idea to have separate daubers for your inks.
And it's surprising how much color and cheer those little things bring to your space. I thought maybe you had some kind of little pots of color magic in there! Maria

I love how organized you are. I wish I could be just as organized in my small space too! I love this that you said. It made me laugh out loud.

"Yeah, my house is that small, and there's so damned many stamps out there!"

thanks, everyone!

The key to a small space is being super organized. You don't have a lot of room to shuffle things around, or even really put two 12x12s together when making a layout so it really helps to be neat and be able to lay hands on things right away.

The first thing I said when I saw your pictures was "Oh wow!"

Not only do you have a nicely organised, small room (which can be better than a large, disorganised one) - you have incorporated some wonderful geeky toys (Dr Who and a Brony I see! That really gets me in the feels.)

Love how you turn your copic storage system on its side, which can be used to pack them up and take them on the go, as well as just there to organise them on your desk (Please tell me where you got it?!)

Great space and would love to see the stuff that you make! I've been thinking of signing up for Odd Girl and Greeting Farm digi-stamps as well - being able to print anything I want in any size really appeals to me.

Hehe, I'm glad you like all my geeky stuff. The Doctor, Sherlock,, Castiel, and Captain Jack Harkness keep me company while I create, lol! It makes my space homier.

I got my case at www.oozak.com. It comes with baskets though, the insert I have in there now is just an egg crate type thing hand made out of a cardboard box. Took about 10 minutes of work.

Glad I could inspire you with some of my favourite companies. ALL digi stamps from any company can be resized and printed on whatever you wish though. Just so you know. That's one of the reasons I love them so much and use them almost exclusively now.

HI Ayeran
love your space, so effectively organized!
but Can I ask you something about what you said about your stamps?
How do you use your stamps when you take of the wood and cushions?
I have some rubber stamps of magnolia without foam? do you think that Aileen's stuff would work?

Wow your space is nice!

What container did you use to store your sponge daubers?
I like how you organized them. I really want to get that storage case.

Thanks for sharing your space. My hubby and I will be downsizing in 18 months and moving to an apartment. I will be really looking for ideas for small craft areas and keeping my stash on the smallish side as it is now. I came back to scrapping after a 4 year hiatus and purged old and outdated supplies that had me slapping my head in that "what the H&*$ was I thinking" time in my shopping habits. Now I only have those things that I really love and use. Thanks again for giving my great ideas!
