Is there a trick to making a font thicker, besides bolding it?

And can anyone recommend a Silhouette message board that's good?

Thanks!

You can always do an offset. I do that sometimes, then delete the original letters. It's down next to the weld button.

there are several mb on facebook. One I belong to and all the ladies are very helpful is Happy SIL board. It is geared mostly towards vinyl, but they are super helpful with machine knowledge. Another one is Silhouette Paper crafts..awesome group there as well.

To make a font thicker so it will cut I use the offset feature and set it at .015.
