how to stop a silhouette cut in progress?

hi i have looked everywhere in the menus and can't figure out how to stop the silhouette when it is in the process of cutting a file. sometimes i realize i have the settings wrong and want to stop the cutting. i have the original silhouette.

Honestly, the only thing I do - even with the pause button on the Cameo - the only way I can reliably stop a cut is to turn the machine off. (BTW - that's something you should generally never do with electronics.)

I have the original Sil too. I just shut it off. And have for years. It's worked for this long, I guess it's not hurting it.

On my original, I just turned mine off too. I did it more than several times over the years I used it and it didn't seem to hurt it one bit.
