Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to share that you can now purchase Photoshop Actions here at Two Peas! Since they are located in the digital section of the site, and I know that traditional scrappers love actions just as much as us digi scrappers do I figured I'd send over a little note to you all

Here's what is available now. And I will be adding tons more in the following weeks!

I would love to know how to use actions in Photoshop. I saw a True Scrap 4 Ala cart class by Jessica Sprague I will be taking to learn how. Thanks for sharing these!

Susan- Actions are SUPER easy to use I might even go so far as saying they are the easiest tool in the entire program! Simply install an action into Photoshop, then open your actions tool. Open a photo and click "play" on the action and that's it! One of my favorite parts of Photoshop

CS users install the action by clicking on "load actions" in the action box and finding the new action they purchased.
And Elements users have a couple more steps involved in installing the action...they have to drag the file into a specific folder. But once installed...it's so fun to watch the instant transformation

I installed a few of these today. I'm using PSE9. Here is one of my first experiments, using Soft Tea

This is great! Thanks for letting us know.
I just posted a question earlier this week about wanting to take a post processing class. I know there was one here at 2peas, but I was having problems finding folks who have taken it.

I have one set of actions on my computer and would love more... but would love to REALLY know how to use them.

sorfammom, you can find them by clicking here

I haven't looked yet, but I wonder if You Tube shows how to install and use actions? I usually go there if I need a quick tutorial or recipe and I'm never let down

This video says it will show you a tutorial on installing and using actions for elements or CS using windows or mac I haven't watched it, but maybe that helps?

That video looks pretty good. I'm using an older school process of adding the Actions to the effects palette in PSE which has a lot more steps. I will try his way next time.

One thing I noticed in his video that he kind of glosses over is how to show the hidden files. If you're not seeing the hidden files go the the Control Panel, open Folder Options, then check the box to show the hidden files.

Are the layers adjustable or do they automatically flatten after they run?

AJC- sorry about that, I haven't had a chance to check out this thread til now.
Unfortunately there are no layers for each step, but there is a layer on top of your original photo so that if you don't like the result you can just delete the top layer and your original is beneath. So two layers, your original and the action result layer.

Thanks Jen and Laura btw, you gals are the sweetest!

Personally I love my actions but that sounds pretty vain LOL. I think they are pretty rad, dare I say and I plan to make lots more!

Thanks so much everyone for your kind thoughts and questions. If anybody has purchased these actions please feel free to contact me with any questions (my email is in the document titled instructions).
