good morning, ladies!

hope everyone's looking forward to doing a little bit of art journaling this week.

here are the picks for this week:

machine stitching
acrylic paint
distress inks
bubble wrap

this is, probably, one of the most unique color combos that could exist - can you pull it off?

don't panic if you don't have everything on the list - make it work for you. use substitutions, if you need to.

i know there are a few ladies that just wanted to journal - no art, so here's a journaling prompt for you:

"new beginnings..."

what's changed/changing for you this year - anything new thus far/in the works?

if you want to play along, have at it! post your finished piece either in your gallery here or on your blog and link up on this thread.

happy art journaling!

Looking forward to this one, although with me only being back a few days from my two-week vacation I imagine I will get started with last week's tonight. But here's what I did for Challenge #4. The one you did for Challenge #4 on your blog inspired how I made my background. It also sort of works for this week, as I stamped the circles with bubble wrap and 2 colors of distress ink. But I'll do another. Stamping with bubble wrap is fun.

Here's the one I did with these prompts. Not sure I like it yet.

I'm doing something a bit different...I am taking some of the Project Life cards, using some of the images from Melody Ross' Truth Cards using the guidelines from your Journal in a Jar post. Below is my first attempt. I am really happy with the results. I think it is one of the prettiest cards I've made thus far. I hope you enjoy it.

Silver counts for gray, right?
