So, I decided to sit down tonight to see if I have any Cricut cartridges that would cut out some neat 3x4 cards that I could use for Project Life. I don't have a Cameo so I cant cut the cool cards I've seen so many of. I have decided to "rock what I got".
This may be old news, but on page 70 of the good ole Don Juan cartridge is a polaroid frame shape!!! I cut it out at 3-3/4 and it fits perfectly in a 3x4 pocket. I uploaded it to my gallery if anyone wants to see it. Since I'm on my iPhone, I can't post it on the thread. I went through my cartridges and found a lot of neat rectangle die cuts to use to spice up my PL album. So far, I have about 20 different cards that I have been able to cut. So excited!!!

There are also some nice rectangle cards on A Childs Year and Tie the Knot. I need to post more pics to my gallery. Don Juan has an ampersand one, and the Childs Year has a rounded corner card that you can cut at 3x4. |

You can also use the George & Basic Shapes cartridge. Use a rectangle, the put a square on top of it. Weld the two together. Voila. You can also add sayings like the SC's buy typing and welding the name to the bottom. Just keep everything on one layer. |

Someone pointed out on another thread that the Don Juan is the free cartridge to cut this week on the CricutCraftRoom site. Thought I would pass that on if anyone wanted to log in and cut some. |

Yep, that's how I do it. Here's one I made for my December Daily, using some wood veneer paper:

Cricut + craft room = cutting out anything the Cameo can.
If you have a decent cartridge library or some creativity you can do it. |
