Is it me or has the program changed big time? I was getting 10% off now I am not because now you must reach 7500 points to just get 5% off and I only have 4173 points.

ooooh, I'm not liking this AT ALL!

I was getting the 15% off and now I'm only getting 5%.

Well, that 15% is what kept me ordering from 2Peas this entire time....looks like I can start shopping at other places.

I've spent A LOT of money here so yea, this doesn't make me real happy.

That is disappointing.
I'll have to spend over 3500$ to go back to the 15% discount I was receiving.

ETA: loyalty programme fine print:

Our Customer Loyalty Program rewards frequent shoppers with a discount of up to 15% on non-discounted items plus special promotional offers. The points you earn on each order are good for 12 months from the date your order ships and are not transferrable. The loyalty discount does not apply towards shipping costs and cannot be combined with other offers. Two Peas reserves the right to modify or further clarify the rules and restrictions that apply to this program at any time.
So, not only do I need to spend that additional money in less than 12 months time, the points are only good for 12 months. And it sounds like no more stacking sales plus loyalty discount?

Wow. I dropped from 15% to 5%. While I suppose 5% is 5%, my incentive to shop here has plummeted.

Wow, this changed overnight. I put something in my cart just yesterday afternoon and had the 10% discount. This morning, back to full price. Sorry, I usually don't have a problem with changes around here, but this one bites!! I see my shopping really slowing down here now. Not that 10% was huge on my orders but it was at least something.

I never saw the notice in any emails or announcement on board.
ETA: I am not even at 5% at this point. NOT happy at.all!!

It must have changed today because I was looking at my loyalty account yesterday and it was the old program. 5% after spending $750 is not much of an incentive.

Yeah not happy with this at all. According to this new set up I need another 3327 points just to get 5% off and I was getting 10% off. I was getting ready to place an order and noticed my discount wasn't there and that's when I discovered this. It was showing my discount last night.

That is a bummer for sure -- I went from 10% to nothing, and there is no way (unless I win the lottery) that I'm going to buy enough to get any discount, much less the old one.

2Peas has every right to make changes, but I would have appreciated a head's up (and, even better, warning to make a "final bucket" with my former discount).

I am not a happy camper. I have been getting 15% off forever and now I am back down to 10%. Will definitely make me cut back on my purchases as that 15% helped to offset the high shipping costs I have to pay to Canada.

Going from spending $500 to $3000 for a 10% discount is a huge jump. And $5K a yr is insurmountable. Yep, instead of planning to do most of my shopping here from now on, I will be back to doing most of my shopping at archivers and only shopping here for stuff I can't get there and probably only when they have a sale or coupon. It was totally worth it to me to order from 2Ps with the higher discount and having it shipped to my door even though I could use 30% coupons at archivers. Now- not so much. I'll be back to stalking archivers rare sales and frequent coupons

ETA: Nice that they now have a lower discount amount I guess. But a 600% percent jump for 10% and a 350% jump for 15% is insane

Wow. What a change over night and not even any announcement about it? I went from 15% to 5% in the blink of an eye. Well, this will make it easier for me to decide where to spend my money and which online retailers to patronize.

I understand the program can (and has) changed without warning, but it seems to me that "loyalty" should be a two way street...

ETA: They also fixed their own glitch of crediting for the full subtotal as opposed to the subtotal before loyalty discount/coupons so my points credited dropped a whole lot too. Which that part I get but I am really unhappy with the huge increase to threshold for discount

I haven't noticed this...thanks for the heads up. I used to get the 15% discount cuz I shopped almost exclusively here. If I'm back to a measly 5% - its not worth it at all. I pay shipping to Canada. Much cheaper now for me to make smaller orders with small shops on etsy. Too bad...I really do love 2Peas! A heads up would have been nice - shame on you 2peas for not notifying your best customers in advance!!!

if you want to get the diamond discount you must spend $417/mth to get the 15% discount and to go for the gold you must spend $250/mth. That is a lot of money in these hard times. I hope they have some awesome sales. I like the free shipping and I love the videos. They have stepped up and are offer more videos. The shimelle kits are awesome but to ask someone to spend over $400 a month is a bit much in my opinion.

Wow. So sad. I just got the 10% and was able to apply that to only one order. I was also very close to getting the 15%. Now back to 0. Spending that much one year is really steep to get 15% off. Not sure that most people would reach that amount.

I was one small order away from the discount, and my cart was full and I was going to hit buy and now I am a million points away. Bad move. If I had the discount and lost it, I would be furious. I am sure this is not going to be to their advantage because they are going to lose customers.

Bad bad decision. So many online stores offer better prices, free priority shipping, and faster ship times.... I see my orders here dwindling.

Oh no, I'm so sad about this. I also went from 15% to 5%. I've got around 16k points. I'll never make it to gold before the other points drop off. I appreciate everything 2 peas does for the scrappy community, but this just hurts my heart. I've been a loyal customer and this is how I get treated? I did read the fine print a long time ago and was aware it could change, but this is just ridiculous. It was good while it lasted. I'm sorry 2 Peas but I think you missed the boat on this one. These are pretty unreachable tiers.

I hope to come back to this and see that I'm misunderstanding somehow and there are ways besides dollar for dollar to obtain points. Otherwise I too shall have to reconsider where I spend my scrappy money.

I just looked and it says that you earn 10 points for every dollar on non-discounted product, so I guess it's not just dollar for dollar if that helps.

Nope- but it still amounts to a huge threshold increase. Just drop a 0 and you can "see" the new requirements. What used to get me a 10% discount (500) won't even get me a 5% discount. What used to get me a 15% now gets me 5% and "special offers". I have to spend twice that ($3K) to get back to 10% and well over 3x that to get back to 15%.

I never used to shop here because of the shipping/regular prices. Once I started buying exclusives or harder to find items with free shipping codes and reached that 10% off, I started doing almost all my scrappy shopping here for the convenience and variety- even more so after hitting 15%. Unfortunately, this is a game changer for me

Hi Peas!
Yes, we have changed the Customer Loyalty Program. While the economy and the Two Peas business has changed, our customer loyalty program has not changed in fourteen years. In order to be able to continue offering a discount to our customers, we did have to make alterations. We hope you can understand that while some businesses we've seen have done away with programs like this all together, we still wanted to offer rewards and incentives for our customers.

Shopping with us is no longer the only way to enter our Customer Loyalty Program. You can now earn points simply by being active in our community, which I know so many of you are! This change rewards not only the shopper, but the crafter who loves to chat with other crafters, share their work in our gallery, etc. We value your presence and participation here, and our new program reflects that.

We are just a couple days away from your first opportunity to begin racking up those points! Our CHA Winter Online Social event will include creative challenges, giving you the chance to earn up to 1,000 points just by uploading your creative work to our gallery! We'll be sharing the details on that very soon.

Edited to add: I should mention too that while it won't earn you as many points as full priced product, purchasing discounted product does reward you with points as well.

Additionally, the special promotions and advanced sale notifications are new to our program as we weren't offering those perks before.

What????!!!!!

I used to have 15% off until November and then I was set down to 10% because I did no longer reach the $1000 in 12 months limit anymore. I was still getting 10%, so I wasn't too unhappy.

Guess what? As of today I do not get any loyalty points off my purchases! NOTHING! Not even 5%.

So, let's see what happened. They raised the minimum limit for getting any customer loyalty discount at all, from $500 to $750 in a 12-month period (but adding a zero to the numbers and calling it "points" to confuse the customers). They also lowered the discount from 15 to 5% for most loyal customers and from 10% to none for others. In order to get 15% you now have to purchase products for $5,000 in a year instead of $1,000! Wow!!! That's not exactly an insignificant change to the loyalty program. Ouch!

I have seen a consistent deterioration in terms for customers over the last years, both in shipping times and costs and rule changes in the loyalty program.

On the other hand, there has been a constant improvement in the inspiration area. Which is free (for the most part), so I'll definitely continue to hang out here and enjoy the wonderful inspiration.

Coming here to shop? Well... Somehow, I don't think upsetting your most loyal customers - the ones that are shopping here so frequently that they get a discount - is the very best strategy to increase sales and make more money.

I'm not sure of the reasons behind these decisions, but I'm beginning to worry...

Wow this is so sad. I placed more orders in the last year because of my discount than I ever had before! The last time I looked I had $2500 spent in the loyalty program which gave me 15% off. Now I'm at 5% and no where near getting 10% yet. So very sad at this change. I will now place my SSS order and not feel bad about not purchasing it here I hadn't placed the order waiting for 2peas to stock the items, but not feeling as loyal anymore so off I go to shop elsewhere. So sad.

Thank you for responding, Jamie!

I like that activity in the community can earn you some points. That's a great idea! However, maybe not much of a consolation for losing such a significant amount of loyalty points in one blow, as we loyal customers just did. :/

I'm sure we will get over the grief, eventually. And when we do, it's up to you to convince us to shop in your store instead of the competitions'.

I am not happy at all about this change, and the way it was (not) presented. I used to order every month, but I will have to shop elsewhare now. Buying from Canada, it is just not worth it anymore for me. There is just no way I will get to the 5% now, and I used to get 10%. I am really tired of companies changing things around without proper notice or announcement. It is an insult to us, loyal customers.

Unfortunately, 2 peas will realize very shortly that they will be losing a lot of business.

I just have to go empty my cart now.

ETA - Jamie, for my part, I just don't care about those new perks.

ETA again - What a shame to lock down threads. What is the purpose of a message board if we can't even express our opinions about our shopping here?

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We will definitely keep it in mind for making announcements regarding any changes in the future!

This thread has now been locked as we've given an explanation for the new program in the sticky at the top of the message board. Thank you again for sharing your feedback and for your understanding.
