Precision Pen Problems

I've ordered precision pens (by Amercian Crafts) twice and both times I ended up with pens that leak from around the tip. The first pen I bought did this after using it for about a month, the second package of pens I ordered just a couple weeks ago had a pen leaking already as soon as I took off the cap. Has anyone else had this problem? I live in Denver and I'm wondering if the altitude could have anything to do with it. Can anyone recommend a pen they like that's comparable to the precision pens. I really love these pens but they're $4 a pop and I can't spend that much on a pen that is consistently defective.

Sorry that's not good. I just ordered a new pack via Amazon and hope that's not case.
