After all I just got 2 emails from them saying I received 5,000 points just for being a loyal customer and and extra 10% off on my orders for being a silver member. I guess if things continue to keep up like this and I earn points ill be back at my 15% in know time, them maybe this new program won't be so bad after all! I like that they send you extra discount coupons to use on top of your earned discount! & the points too!

I only have 1,250 points. I don't know if I will ever get any discount but I have not had one in a long time (once had 15 percent) but that won't stop me from shopping here. Whenever I have the money to spend (which seems to be maybe every 6 months or so) I will fill my bucket up and get the free shipping - that is good enough for me.

Woohoo, congrats for you! Now - where do you sign up to get that email?

I used to hover between a 10% and 15% discount, and now I juuuuust squeaked into the 5% (no special notices) category by uploading my first-ever gallery projects.

A 5,000 point boost would be awesome.

I do agree that the new point system isnt so bad, but it doesnt change how upset I am. It looks like we get 5 points per post, thats nice! Im not sure how many we get for other things. The reason I am still upset is that I dont think it is fair to take away the discount people had already earned until their 12 months are up. I understand the reasoning behind the change, and it looks like point are going to rack up pretty quickly, but I should still have my 10% discount until my time is up.

ETA: Ugh. Scratch that. The 5 points per post is only this weekend, up to 300 points.

Hover your mouse over the Shop tab up top, and there's a sublink for Customer Loyalty Program. When you click on that, it'll show you how many points you have.

Correct me if I'm wrong--to maintain a level in the Loyalty Program, you have to keep adding to your points consistently, because won't they drop off?

My points are increasing but I am still only half way to the first level...and at that level you don't get to be in on special promos and advance sale notification...This still really rubs me the wrong way, especially since last week I was at 10% off...

Well it's bad for those of us that lost our discount and didn't get an email today. It really sucks. I'm glad you got yours but Two Peas is about to lose a lot of customers. Sorry but I'm pissed.

I never got an email either, im pretty mad. I spent the money here to get the discount as it really helps when i have international shipping on top, got the 10% and was close to the next leval and now i have ZERO!! it really really sucks, as i chose to spend here when i could have just done it elsewhere, that is what happens when you are loyal i guess, you get screwed lol

I am very interested to see how it rolls out - tons of points being awarded this weekend, however accumulating to even a 5% discount seems daunting to me at the moment. I was not at a discount level (on mat leave, must be frugal), however used to have the 15% and really enjoyed it...

I'm not thrilled about the changes to the loyalty program either.

I've been a loyal customer for many years, and was at the 15% discount level. Now I'm down to 10%, which I can match at my LSS.

it's definitely disappointing, and I feel like I don't have much incentive to do all of my online shopping here any more.

No email here either and although you can earn points this weekend, there is a cap. You can only earn 300 points for posting. I believe you can only earn 1000 points for uploading los. There are 10 challenges and you get 200 points per upload so you only get points for 1/2 of the challenges if you do all of them. Unless there is something I don't know about, you can only get 1300 points this weekend. I'm hoping that I am wrong and that there will be more opportunities.

I am still upset about losing my 10% because I don't see any chance of ever making that level again.

I received both emails. I tried to place an order and you can only use 1 code, either the free shipping or the 10%. So basically they cancel each other out and I still end up with only a 5% discount not 15% as before. I was happy to receive the 10% code but sadly there's no incentive to use it. Oh well, I need to be saving up for new CHA goodies anyways.

I received the email and the 10% coupon. But remember... you can't use 2 coupons so you wouldn't qualify for free shipping... Not a great deal if you ask me.

I received an email for an extra 5%. Is that because I now get 10% as a Gold member and the max discount is 15%?

I hope this works out for all customers and 2Peas. I don't have a local store and I no longer support another popular site due to long shipping and poor communication. I need 2Peas for my shopping fix.

I live in Hawaii. I don't even qualify for free shipping just 10.00 off I think if I go over 50.00. Shipping here is very expensive around 18.00 average. Not worth it at all so I don't shop here.

I don't like how it feels arbitrary and I don't like not knowing "all the rules" and I don't like that a shopping reward is not contingent on shopping.

I got the email - I was in the 15 off program for over a year and my points went from 16,256 on Friday morning to 21,356 this weekend. But, even if I wanted to use the extra 10% - to help them liquidate their warehouse to make room for CHA goodies, let's be honest - I am still going to pay the shipping because now we can't get free shipping on top of our discount. So, that adds $7-$10 to the cost of the order, which erases the extra 10% easily unless you are ordering over $70.

So, it's not a good deal. It's kind of like putting lipstick on a pig. It's still a pig.

I appreciate their business constraints, but here's where I end. 85% of A LOT is always going to be greater than 95-100% of zero. Ask Walmart. They bank gold on volume not margin. And I'll just say it. I'm sorry Two Peas if this offends you. But, maybe the big new warehouse was not a smart move. And maybe paying for a web redesign at the cost of your customers was not a smart move. Especially on top of paying for the buy back of the business. I truly Two Peas, but my smart move is that I get to "vote" with my dollars. And there was a thread just last week where we were all mentioning that our paychecks are slimmer because the end of the tax holiday. So, we all lost 2% of our pay and now 10% of our discount. That isn't fuzzy math. It doesn't take long to add up what the sum will be from that equation. Bad decisions, handled poorly.

And for the record, I bought 5 classes last year on top of my hefty weekly-semi-weekly orders. I don't have an LSS. I'm a dream customer. If I'm treated like a dream customer.

It has never been free shipping, just up to $10 off if you spend $50 in "newer" product.

I have a cart of $115 right now where shipping is $19 ( no albums or paper packs...)
So it's $9 to ship....

And the loyalty discount and coupons seem arbitrary.

I've waited for an email - or a point bump. Oh well - that gives me a $100 to spend at Studio Calico where my items will ship the day I order them with completely free shipping and they have an amazing loyalty program

When I heard about this email, I was pissed. This is unfair, how am I not loyal enough for these extra points? I really feel like a devalued customer, frankly. I don't know what 2Peas is thinking with this whole debarcle.

I am one of those that never received an email and can't seem to figure out the algorithm of how that was decided. I started here in July and was almost at the 15% level but apparently my dollars were mostly spent on sale items so I didn't have dollar for dollar points awarded to me. The funny thing is that once I had my 15%, I had decided to buy my full price items primarily at 2peas. Now there is no incentive for me to do so. There are plenty of craft stores locally and I also frequent other online stores that have better deals, faster shipping, and no bent corners.

I actually enjoyed earning points this weekend during CHA but I know that for me personally, I can't do that every weekend or most of the week. Everyone is different and I think that it is great for people to rack up points by posting and uploading projects. For me, I feel that it's another thing on my to do list which does not feel like a hobby to me. It also feels unattainable. Too much work for too little reward.

Initially after the change to the new system, I was ready to give it a go. After reading how everything has been handled from communication to arbitrary emails, however, I decided this is not for me. I really enjoy this site, but I'm probably taking my dollars, which haven't been valued here, elsewhere.

I have a feeling that TwoPeas is about to see a sharp decline in purchases.

I never earned any sort of discount (and only have a little under 2,000 points) so I have no dog in this fight, but I feel bad for those who did. ESPECIALLY since those of you who had earned the discounts did so by spending a LARGE amount of money.

I think the least TwoPeas could have done would be to send out an e-mail stating that things would be changing. It's not like this was a small change - it was actually pretty significant. Even though it is only the first month of the year - I think the responsible thing would have been to let those who had earned the discounts (be it 5%, 10%, or 15 keep the discounts for the remainder of the year.

E-mail or no e-mail I don't really care (for myself), but for those of you who were stripped of your discount - I feel really bad for you! I think the best thing to do is to let your money do the talking.

Between this and ignoring how everyone felt about the re-design, it seems as though TwoPeas has repeatedly been shooting themselves in the foot.

did you say that once we reach a discount level we can't use the free shipping code? Or was that 10% something else?

I'm bummed about not getting the email. With those 5K points I would be 400 points away from 5% and I have that much in my cart anyway. Sure makes you feel not wanted and like you are being nickel and dimed too.
