I actually just returned the pixma mg5320. I bought it for 89.00. We need a printer at home and thought an all in one would work...again. this would have been our second all in one. i never opened it because after reading reviews, I just felt the selphy was a better purchase for picture printing quality and price per pic (about .27). The ink for the pixma i purchased was around $55 for the combo. Best buy has the selphy on sale this week for $69.99. The ink for it is around $35 for the combo and that's for 108 pics...guaranteed. I bought it yesterday and i am so glad i did! I plan to buy a cheaper canon pixma for home use. I hope this helps! |

I have a pixma mg5320. Bought it very recently to replace the other Canon AIO that just died on me for no reason. It was only a year old, never had any problems with it (other than printing off color pictures) then one day it wouldn't turn on. I went online searching for answers and lots of people had this problem too. The only reason I replaced it with another Canon was that I just spent close to $50 on new inks. Plus my kids use it to print off their homework.
I hate the quality of photos it prints so I usually buy online or at Walgreens. I've been considering buying a Selphy but since I just forked so much for ink and a printer I'm having trouble biting the bullet. I hear so many amazing reviews about the Selphy that I know I will own it one day.

I have the 5220 (I think!) and got it for a steal. I have no problems with it and like that you can print two or more photos on a 4x6 right from the printer. It can use a USB or read your card from your camera. I buy generic ink online...just got a new pack for less than $15. |

I have the ix6520 and love it. I didn't buy it for printing pictures but one week I used it to print my PL pics and I haven't looked back. It's great! | |

I have an older Pixma. It is about 3 years old. The print quality is very good. I have been using my Selphy more because of the convenience of it. I eventually want to get a new Pixma with the AirPrint feature on it.
When I use the Pixma to print pictures, I print out 8x10 sheets with several pictures on one sheet. I think it more cost effective than the Selphy, but I still use the Selphy a lot. |

Yup, you need the 900 to print directly from an iPhone. You can print to the 800 from your phone, but you need to use a laptop/computer as the go between, with the 800 connected to your computer. |
