Good morning, everyone
Hope you had a great week to reevaluate your space.. Remember do this at your process--you are not behind in anything.. just keep going and get it done..
This week is all about stamps--wood mounted and clear stamps.. Some of us may have small amount or large amount. the key to organize is how effective they are in our work process when making layout or card. How do we find that specific stamp that we know we have to use? Do you often have to tear your room apart to find that stamp set? Where in the heck do we start?
First, Here is original Wookiemouse's post discuss how to do this..
next step is to determine what storage you want to use for your stamps--there is so many options out there. I have started couple ideas on my pinterest-- Stamp Organization
Any tips that you want to add, please do. Please post picture of your stamp storage.. would love to see it..
have you done any creating this past week?
Please post update on your organization you have recently done..

This is how I store my stamps:
Mostly wooden stamps but with some rubber cling and larger clear sheets I've left together are in small pizza boxes you see in . this pic of my area.
I have some small wood mount sets in the larger drawers of the plastic chest in the left corner. These are mainly small alphas but also a bunch of the SU tags and a set of mini stamps.
I have a bunch of foam stamp shapes in the blue SU tag punch set tin. And another small pizza box with 2 foam alpha sets in one of my drawers since I'm out of shelf space.
This post shows how I store most of my clear stamps. But I ran out of space in the box so I need a bigger one. |

Oops some how I missed this week! I don't use stamps a lot but I do need to organize them better. Thanks for posting so many great ideas.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, I love the pinterest board - very useful!
I need to revaluate my system, I had a tidy up of my stamps last week because my current organisation isn't good enough, and I always want to clear out the stamp sets I never use or no longer like.
I have my stamps in 4 different things, not helpful for space or travelling to crops. I have Autumn Leaves stamps in a tin (like a lunchbox tin top loading), then I had an old photo album with 4x6 sets in, then I filled all those so small stamps went in a little Really Useful Box, but now that is also full so I have a whole bunch just dumped in a pretty shoe box! I definitely need a better method, and will be looking into the links here to see if anything catches my eye. | |
