How big are the cubes in the expedit? Found one on Craigslist and I want to make sure before I buy it. Thanks! |

I have three of the 2x4 standing tall, and haven't secured them to a wall at all. They are still pretty sturdy. That being said, though, my kids are not young enough to be tempted to climb them! | |

To be exact they are 13 1/8 X 13 1/8 inside measurement. I have 4-8 cube, they are more flexible and light weight to move and use than the 20 cube or 16 cube there isn't always a wall for the bigger units. JMO
No, I don't have them attached to wall but if I had small children I would. I do make sure the top isn't heavier than the bottom, if that makes sense. |

The one I am getting is the 25 cube in black. I hope I can wait until Friday to pick it up. If I could, I'd already be there to pick it up!

The large Itso bins from Target fit perfectly. You can see mine in the gallery. I chose the polka dot ones, but they have some solid colors and other patterns.

I have expedits all over the house (play room and scrap room.) they are all attached to walls just in case.
I'm actually getting two more for the scrapbook as soon as I can drive down to ikea.
Oh and each cube is about 13 inches. |

The ITSO Cubes from Target fit perfectly! I haven't found anything that fits any better.
