So my pages are inserted randomly into albums. I cant decide if I should keep them this way, or organize them by subject- like travel, Christmas, pets, or people.

I have chrono albums, some years take 2 albums some years a half an album.
Then I have a Maizy Puppy book (my pug), I have a travel album that I do one page for each place we go, I have individual travel albums for vacations, I have a graduation album with my kids graduations in it. I have a Nascar album with a two page spread of each track we go to.

Every layout has a home!

Mine are just random as I do a LO. Now let me also say, the two oldest kiddos have senior yr albums that are chronological for that yr and I have 1 cruise album. But that is about it.

I scrap on a whim so I would drive myself batty if I did it any other way.

I have both, chrono annual books and theme albums. I am currently adding 2 3 theme albums; my cruise, my son's baseball album and my other son's medieval album.

I don't have any random layouts; they go in a chrono album.

Random scatter! In order I scrapped the layouts in, roughly, which is quite random as its really just whatever picture/story I feel like doing.

This year I've been trying to put similar themed layouts back-to-back in the same page protector. That way if I ever want to reorganize my albums, or if my girls want to divide up pages, it will be a bit easier with less moving pages in and out of protectors.

I scrap what I am in the mood to work on but they go in my albums in chronological order. I do all my adult kids yearly and my grandkids all are starting to have their own albums starting from birth. I have done a few themed albums, but mostly yearly albums. I love three ring binders because it is easy to move LO's around as I add more and more since I scrap out of order.

I have yearly chrono 12x12 albums for my immediate family and Project Life for 2012 and 13. I also have "People and Places We Love" albums for trips when I was younger and extended family and friends. I also have a theme album for my nature pics. When I go on vacation I usually make a travel journal w/pics or a mini album.

My Project Life album is chronological by year, and then I have regular layouts in my Library of Memories system
-All about us (immediate family)
-Things we do
-Places we go
-People we love (extended family and friends)

When sections in each album get to big I pull them out and give them an album of their own

I scrap pretty randomly but have an order to how I store my finished pages. I have annual albums for the random, everyday stuff and the regular events, and these are roughly chronological.
Then I do vacation albums - these are stored mainly by country, and sort of chronologically but I'm not too fussed if Tuesday comes after Wednesday, particularly if we return to a location more than once.

Neither. I scrap chrono for the most part and my albums are chrono. The only 'theme' album is my wedding/anniversary album, but also layouts go in chrono. (well, when I get them done )

My albums are random. I started having themed albums (a pet album, Disney albums) but as those got full I ended up just adding all the layouts in albums. I try to remember to date my layouts but I don't scrap chronologically.

Totally random, well, at least that's how I scrap. I don't actually have any completed albums yet, but I started my girls albums that way. Scrap whichever photo/s I like, then organize them into crono when I get enough done.

I do a little bit of both.
I have themed albums - baby, holiday, vacations, etc.
And then I have what I like to call the "family" albums where I just throw random "everyday" layouts I've done.

In every album - I have pages of 4x6 photos mixed in with layouts so I get the feel of a real photo album and not just a scrapbook.

All themed, and chronological within each album (although I don't necessarily scrap them in order).

Daughter
Son
Family (things not specific to either of my kids)
Disney
Vacation
Christmas
Me (these are the only ones that are *not* chronological... they are just pages of random memories and things about me)

I have 2 different kinds. Most of mine are travel related or a childhood album. I am on a DT so I also have a couple of random albums.

It seems I'm doing something similar to others. I scrap what I feel like when I feel like it and then put them in chronological albums. I also have a couple of theme albums like one for family vacations, another for short road trips and day trips my husband and I have taken together, and pictures from my childhood (more a photo album than scrapbook, but it's in a WRMK d-ring album the coordinates with my other albums). I'm planning on taking some of the chrono layouts that are specific to one child or the other and making individual albums for each of them. I'm also starting to plan a wedding album for my daughter's destination wedding this fall. I took Photo Freedom with Stacy Julian in 2011 and did the LOM system but after a little over a year I decided it just wasn't working for me to have my albums organized that way. I took them apart last fall and put them back in chrono order and I'm much happier.

My albums used to be themed as I mostly did events like my holidays. Now I follow a system similar to Shimelle, I have yearly albums which are chronological (although they aren't in order atm, just in the right 'year' album), and then some events will get their own album (again, holidays usually).

I have chronological family albums for each year, and although I scrap out of order eventually LOs get into albums in order (roughly). Travel sometimes gets its own album, sometimes into the family album, depending on qty of pages. Kids (now grown) have about three WRMK binders each for their life, I'm still doing some older LOs for them, ultimately I expect they'll each have about four albums for birth through college. Then there are a few theme albums in there...geez.

I scrap a layout an in it goes. They are totally random.

Originally, I would rearrange them Chronologically when my daughter was a baby... but that didn't work at all, I spent so much time organizing that it wasn't worth it anymore.

Old habits die hard, so I have been using post bound albums since day 1. Problem: My bookshelf is full and I have no room for my Project Life 2013 album, so I am going to try out D-ring binders because it can fit so much more than 20 pages and in those binders, they will undoubtedly still be random.

No theme and lucky they are in some kind of order.. lol.. Yeah, I am not very good at organizing like that. I can organize my room all day long, but when it comes to albums... nada... in fact I just finished inserting over 50 pages that I have done in the last year or so... that in itself was a good thing.. actually getting my layouts IN a book.

Edited to add, I do have heritage albums that are separate.. mostly my family.. not much on dh side...

I have both. I have themed albums for my wedding, honeymoon and a couple big vacations. Most of my layouts just go in albums in no order.

I don't scrap chronologically so it is very common for a layout with a childhood pic to be next to a layout with pictures from the past year. This is more freeing to me and gives me the ability to scrap whatever I am in the mood for.

Even those albums I did not scrap chronologically, many of them I still organized that way. And I do scrap my recent photos chronologically for the most part. However, since I have a lot of albums, I also have more than a few that I decided to put into themes.

For the most part, when I see I have so many photos on a particular theme it detracts from my main books that are organized by the year, I have placed them in theme books.

I have pet albums, trip albums (if it was long enough and I took enough photos to fill a whole album, otherwise they just go in with everyday layouts) and random everything else albums.

I scrap what I feel like at the time, so there is no order to any of the albums beyond that, but I plan eventually to put the layouts into roughtly chronological order within each type of album.

My first album was for my wedding. If it wasn't for the wedding it went into an other album as I finished the LO. That was until I took one of Shimelle's classes. Now I may scrap out of order but LOs go into the album in order. The only theme albums have been my attempts of December Dailies.

Mine are all chronological, except my trips all get their own album (Europe 2007, Disney 2005, etc.). I do a "highlight" LO for each trip in the chronological album to which it belongs, and then much more detailed LOs in the individual trip albums.
