Im sure this question has been asked a time or two, but I honestly did not feel like searching the forums and would greatly appreciate any advice/input that could be shared with me!!!
I have 12 cubes that I am in the process of placing a work surface on top of {once I make up my mind on how on earth I want to arrange them!}, but I wanted to paint them first {if possible} so that they would blend with my master bedroom seeings my scrapspace will be in one corner.
Im not going to go really dark in color...maybe a cream or light tan color and they are currently stark white. Anyways, I really appreciate anyone taking the time to share from experience.
TIA!!! |

I've never painted a Jetmax, but I have painted over other glossy furniture and walls. I have used the following primers and have had success with both:
Zinsser

I have painted laminate before. The trick is to rough the laminate a bit with sandpaper so the primer will stick. Don't rush the coats of primer/paint. Let them dry fully before painting the next coat on and let them dry a good couple days before you set anything down on it or put anything into it. It takes a little longer for the paint to cure on laminate.
Oh, and if you want a wipe able surface, put a top coat of poly acrylic made by Minwax. |
