I tried to print from a photo off my ipad. The print when it comes out of the selphy cuts the sides off.....I am not talking about the ends where the perforations are....but the long this normal?

Also.....can I actually print a two up from my iPhone app? I tried, but they came out singly. I was able to do it from the sd card directly in the slot , but for some reason not the iPhone. Is there something else I need to change in the settings to get it to do this?

Alternatively is there a thread someone can point me to, that amp swears all these teething troubles when setting up your selphy.

Sorry for no doubt repeating a question that been posted elsewhere....but could not find the answer.

I don't have the one you have, as I have the 800, so I don't think I can do it from my ipad.
But I do notice it does cut off some of the photo sometimes...not sure if it only when I do the two up, but yes I have notice that it does cut off some of it sometimes.

As for the 2 up did you change your selphy to the 2 up feature ?

I use a picframe app on my iphone that lets you print your pics in all kinds of configurations. You will want to choose bordered option on the canon app when you tell it to print.

This might be the reason that it is cutting off your photos from the ipad.

Select "bordered" instead of "borderless" to avoid the cut off image along the long edges... I found 4x6 photos worked ok either way, but a square photo (from hipstamatic or Instagram) needed the borderless setting (otherwise it is basically trying to print a 6x6 square on the 4x6 paper).

The "2 up" printer settings don't seem to connect at all to iPhone or iPad printing. To get 2 smaller photos to print, I use PicFrame to make a collage of two photos, which saves to your photos roll and then you can select that collaged image to print.
