I have this printed out and clipped right near my computer. I find it really helpful when I'm labeling and tagging photos. When I import my photos, I tag them in Picasa, for example:
PLWeek032013 - this would be the tag for Week 3 in 2013. So when I sit down to assemble, I can search in Picasa with this tag and all of my pictures will come up for that week. I find this coding very helpful when I am catching up with weeks past. Also adding a star to my favourites is even more efficient and reminds me what I want to include.
Tip: As I've used Picasa these past few years, I've learned that searches work better and are more exact when I don't put spaces in my dates when tagging. | |
