I'm due for my annual trip to the bay area for work. I was wondering what scrapbook stores are still open? I'm headed to Palo Alto from Reno, NV will have some time to stop on the way down and I am taking my time on the way home.

So far I've found Our Paper Place in Newark and Scrapbook Territory in Berkley. Are there any others I should check out?

TIA!

Scrapbook Island is great---huge selection, most of the latest and greatest. Definitely worth checking out

Scrapbook Island in San Jose is THE BEST! Don't miss it

Scrapbook Territory is also nice, but I find the store dark and the staff isn't nice. If you're there during a crop it's hard to look around that area. That being said if you like stamps, they have a lot! The Island does too, but this one has some cute wood mounted ones I haven't seen elsewhere.

Hobby Lobby is in Roseville right off I-80. Green Tangerines in Rocklin recently closed.

Our Paper Place has decided to close its doors; they are having clearance sales now.

Memories Live On is in Cupertino, and Cranberry Mercantile is in Sunnyvale.

Scrapbook Island in San Jose is my favorite, now that Our Paper Place is going/gone.

Oh no! Again?!?! I loved that store. Was going to suggest OP stop there on her way.

Yep. I believe the owner was moving to Colorado or somewhere and will be doing something online.

I was bummed to hear Green Tangerines closed. That was always my favorite part of the trip. Thanks for the suggestions! I will plug them into my gps

I have visited Scrapbook Territory a few times and have enjoyed shopping there. Also Paper Source is right down the street. They have some fun things to look at.

Scrapbook Territory is close to the freeway (I assume you will go thru the Bay Area on Hwy 80). Definitely worth the stop-- it's HUGE and they have current products all the time.

I've never found it to be dark (quite the opposite), and have only ever had positive experiences with the staff there.

Also, there's yummy food near by. And coffee. The whole neighborhood makes the stop worth it!
