I'm looking to start printing a lot of my photos in 4x3 or a wallet size. Where do you get yours printed? I want cheap but good quality. I'm also looking for something that won't take an hour to upload 100+ photos at a time. |

I think most people use phototilly's photos sheet (free), picassa's collage function(free), Photoshop or something like that to create two 4x3s on a 4x6 and print where ever they normally print.
I use Picassa or PSE and print at Costco.

At some of the places I get my photos printed there is the option to do that on the machine. I'm sure there would be places in the US that would do the same. |

I get my prints done at walgreens and the only way to do it is to have on photo as the wallet so if you did wallets on a 4x6 you would have two of the same image. Not sure about other companies
I use photosheet on my computer then print it as a 4x6. It's SUPER easy, just drag your 2 images and click "start". Bam they magically appear in a folder as one 4x6. it can do both wallets and 4x3 - plus 100's of other fun options. |

I use PhotoSheet too and love it. I print at home on my Epson Picturemate Charm. |

Another Photosheet fan. Having to cut the 2 4x3's on a regular inexpensive 4x6 print far outways the convenience (and cost) of having just a single 4x3 printed. |

I use Photoshop Elements and do the same thing -- put two 4x3 photos on one 4x6 sheet -- and upload it as one photo. I love the 4x3 size! |

On my iphone I use the free juxtapose app and it allows me to put 2 different pictures on a 4x6 photo. I then just upload it to wherever I am printing pictures. Great for project life.

Absolutely - and I found that out the hard way. I now use Publisher and put two 3 x 4 images into one 4 x 6 image and have them printed at WalMart (for like 9 cents/per 4 x 6 print)! It's much cheaper and a lot easier to cut, too - you only need to cut the photo in half and you have your two wallet sized photos.

^^^^^ THIS, definitely! I print at home and always put two 3x4s on a 4x6 canvas to print.

I use an iphone app, Diptic. I bought the aspect package and change the ratio to 3:2 (which will print at a 4x6) then I use the side by side collage to drop in two photos, upload to Walgreens to print or print from home. Done! You can do two different photos, you can make your own journaling on one side and leave the pic on the other.
I have also use Picasa. You have to select the two pictures (using ctrl) then click Create and Collage. Then change the setting to 4x6 so your pictures will print 4x6. Save it and upload to your printing place, or print on your printer at home. |

Another one for Photosheet here!
For ordering prints, I love the quality of Persnickety Prints and I love the sales at Snapfish, so those are the two I print from. I don't recommend Shutterfly - I just got yet another damaged envelope of pictures from them today, and I'm never happy with the colors. |

I use Picasa because it's free and easy. I select 2 vertical photos, Make - Photo Collage - and so there are 2 photos on a 4x6 canvus. I typically send them off to be printed at Sam's Club or Costco and cut them in half when I get home.

I'm not very computer literate! How do you get photosheet or picassa? |

Photosheet is a program you download from the internet and Picasa is a website, but you can download software to your computer and install it as well.
Photosheet is only for Windows machines and Picasa you can use on both Mac's & PC's.

It might take a bit of time, but to me Photosheet is the answer to this question. When I use Photosheet, I have already figured out the sketch, so I know if the photo needs to be 4 x 3 (2 on a sheet) 2x3 (4 on a sheet)or some other size.
What you could do instead is pick either one of those sizes and just start pulling the photos, 2 or 4 at a time, onto Photosheet. Then get those printed and if you want to do some of them larger when you figure out what to scrap, then you still can. |

Thanks everybody! I'm going to try the photosheet and see if that works easier. I've been using powerpoint slides sized as 4x6,rotating the photos, making the photos fit the slide, and then exporting them as jpegs. I don't mind having to cut the photo, I just figured there had to be an easier way to go about it. |

I print mine at CVS and you can put two different photos on the 4x6. I don't want to have to do anything on the computer, I like to pop in the memory card and start printing |
