I love two peas, but I am craving a trip to a LSS. We have none near by

These is an Archivers about a 2 and a half our drive from me. If you have saved up and planned to spend a lot is it worth the drive? I have ever been to an Archivers before

Totally worth the drive in my opinion. I'm about an hour away from the closest Archiver's and have no local stores, other than M's and JA's, but I don't buy my scrapping supplies there.

I don't go Archiver's often, but when I do I'm never disappointed.

If you haven't been before, I personally think it is worth the drive! I like to see things before I buy, though. But I would probably take a friend or turn it into at least an overnight and do some other shopping if I was going that far. Another thing would be to sign up for a class when you visit (most stores probably have day & evening options) so it really feels worth your while. Have fun when you go!!

My Archivers is a little over an hour away so I don't go very often. But they do have some great stuff and I usually find what I am looking for. Make sure you sign up for their emails because they will send you coupons, which always make the long trip even better! They also do lots of free demos, make-n-takes, and things like that. So be sure to visit the website and view the schedule for the store you will be going to. I always try to plan my trips for the days they are doing something I really want to take part in, have coupons to use, and this way it makes me feel like the trip was totally worth it!!

Don't shop...Adopt.

I'd probably make a day trip out of it and bring a friend and see lots of other things, but yes! So fun!

I'm another one who appears to be taking Archiver's for granted. I have 4 within a 20 minute driving distance and go all the time. Awesome for me...not so much for my budget.

They do carry pretty much all the new stuff and it's awesome to be able to see it in person. Also if you have time, check out their clearance bins. You can usually find a few gems. Make sure you bring coupons! They usually have 1 really good one per week plus a buy some get some coupon for cardstock.

Have fun!!!

Right now, as you are planning your trip, call your store closest to you, tell them you are a new customer and you want to sign up for coupons. Archivers only sends coupons to people in their system. The coupons are individually barcoded for each person, so you will not find random coupons online. It is much faster and reliable to sign up with a store than thru their web site.

Archivers in 2.5 hours from my house too. Every time I am in that town I get excited to go! Love it!

It's worth the drive. You can call the store before hand to see what they have that's new. I know my store gets stuff after it's available online but it like one of the last stores on the list. You can also ask through there facebook page.

Archiver's is definitely worth the drive! They have lots of the latest product, tons of albums including the WRMK line, stamps, paints, mist, etc. Also they now have a Silhouette and will do die cuts, and they have a nice photo machine that can copy 12x12 paper among other things.

Have a great time,

4 here too within about 30 minutes, closest is 10 minutes. I do take it for granted and would be devastated if closest one closed. It's about 4 minutes from my work and nice to pop over at lunch if there's something I need quickly. Definitely worth going to and fun to shop and see products.

I am an Archiver's lover, too! Just being in the store makes me feel special. They have all the new hot merchandise and it really is wonderful to see it all in person rather than just an image on my computer! They do a wonderful job with displays and lighting, too. Definitely plan on spending at least an hour and and at least $100. Glad you signed up for the e-mail, though, because at least you can get a couple of coupons before you go! They don't really have a ton of sales items - it's mostly about the fun of seeing everything in front of you and taking it home with you! Enjoy!!!

We had Recollections in Dallas until January 2008 and I have missed it ever since it left, substituting the presence of a close by brick and mortar with ordering from Two Peas. I had always heard Archivers was a lot like Recollections.

In late November, I took my son to Nashville to visit a university there and - when he dropped me like a hot potato to go to the college basketball game, I didn't get too upset, because I knew THIS was my window of time to check out Archivers!

Now, I {used to} order weekly from Two Peas and consider myself fairly well-stocked on all the latest and greatest. That being said, I managed to drop $150 in there on all kinds of little embellies that I had never seen before. In my opinion, it was GRAND just to be in a big scrappy store and I think if you could make a fun field trip day of it, go for it.

About twice a year, I will drive to an LSS 65 miles away just to take in the sights and sounds of a real brick and mortar. If I had an Archivers close by, I would definitely go on a somewhat regular basis, like maybe 3-4 times a year.

In fact, we are going BACK to Nashville in 2 weeks and I am for sure going to hit A's again. It happens to be right near a restaurant that I want to take DH to. Can't wait!

I live on the edge of the Twin Cities. Corporate office is out of Minnetonka or Eden Prairie if I remember right. So there are quite a few locations here in the TC's. There are a few within an hour from me, closest being 20 miles one way. I don't pop in there as often as I used to. I think my wallet likes that one too. But, depending on the size of the store, they have a good selection.

I think it's worth the drive. I live about the same distance from one and whenever we have to go to a doctor's appointment in the area.I try to either get to the Archivers at the Mall of America or Maple Grove. I just wish there was one closer but I don't for see one anytime soon.

I love Archivers, too! I stopped by yesterday to pick up a hexagon stamp set and die that I saw last week--only to get that one thing! $75 later, I walked out of the store, a smile on my face, and a plan for the afternoon in my head! Enjoy! It's definitely worth the drive!

I love Archivers, and I'm fortunate to have one about 15 minutes from me.
I only hope it doesn't close. Last time I was there the clerk was saying things had really, really slowed down, and they were looking at ways to get more foot traffic. I don't know if she was talking about this A's in general, or all of them.

I'll be really sad if they close. Maybe I ought to go spend some money in there, haven't been there in a little while.

If you go to one of their weekend crops, all your purchases during the crop are 20% off. You can't use your coupon, too, but I usually end up saving more on total purchases than with the one coupon. It does cost $10 to crop.

I have to drive about an hour to get to Archiver's, so I don't go very often. I would love it if it was closer! Enjoy your trip.

I go to Archivers every chance I get (about 45 minutes away.) I have noticed that it has been pretty slow there the last four or five times I have been there. Maybe it's because I tend to go there during the evenings during the middle of the week. The entire mall was eerily empty last night.

You that have A's close are so lucky. I don't have an LSS anymore and my closest A's is almost 2 hrs away. I love to go to A's and have to go every couple of months or so. It is a major thing that I get very excited about. When I go I like to spend a couple of hours there so I don't miss anything.

South Carolina does not have an Archivers. Closest is in GA or NC about 3.5 - 4hrs to either one

I try to visit my FIL in OH once a year and I go to A's then. That is a 10hr drive!...LOL I usually plan 1-2 hours in the store. Bring photos to match to paper. I took a class there once that was SUPER.

Have FUN!

So worth it.

I live 7 hours away from the closest Archivers and have to cross over the American border
I get to go a few times a year. We of course make a weekend out of it, and I pick up a basket full each time I go in there...which is a few times in one weekend, teehee.

Just bring lots of cash...its not cheap, but still so worth it
