I'm thinking about trying Hero Art Inks and to be honest, I'm completely confused. What is the difference between Hero Hues, Mid Tones, Shadow Inks, etc.? Do you select by project, or are you more "this color is nice" kinda scrapper?

Here is a link to the HA website that compares them.

I think the midtones are shadow inks as well, just a bit more saturated in color. They work very well with clear stamps, particularly solid images. They sort of soak into the paper and the color becomes more even and rich as it dries. I want them all!

I haven't used the Hero Hues but I think they come in dye and chalk and are more "typical".

This is one more link to the main HA ink page. There is a color swatch there and a video that describes the shadow inks.
