I bought a template so I could print my own bottle cap images but I cannot figure out what to do with the image and the template, like how to get the image onto the template. Can anyone out there help me? TIA |

I am not very good at explaining things but let me try! You should be able to open both at the same time. Go to Window-Images-Tile so that you can see them side by side. Go to Image-Resize-Image Size and make sure they are the same resolution (300 is good). Then just make sure you have the image layer selected and you should be able to literally click and drag it over to the template. On the layer box (on the right usually) make sure the image is directly over the part of the template that you want it to conform to. Click on the image layer and so ctrl(or command on a Mac)+G. That will make the template like a window that the image is behind. Now you can move/resize it and it will stay inside the template.
All of this assumes you are using PSE. If not, or if that doesn't make any sense, just say so!

That's a great explanation Tiffany!
I like to "float all windows" as well, so it's easier to drag & drop from one to another. I believe the float all windows setting is in the View menu? I'm at work and don't have elements installed.

Jediannie that is my preference too but in PSE 11 I can't seem to find a way to get it to do that. I might have to look again. Thanks for mentioning it.

This link is for PE 9, but it may help you change the Float all windows setting:
