Yeah, me too.

And that's how I ended up with washi tape on my steering wheel.

Yes, I do! My ironing board is in the room next to my scraproom. I put my new goodies on the table in the scraproom and while I'm waiting for my iron to heat I go in the scraproom and look at the new stuff. Then I'm almost late for work! Hehehe.

Yep! I have all orders sent to my work. Got a pkg today and had to look at it all more than once at the risk of my co-workers making fun.

After I unpack everything, I leave it out, then go back and "visit" all my stuff daily. Lol. That is, until the newness wears off, or I get more stuff.

I have a special bucket where I put mine and ogle over them. And I will rotate what is up front and visible. And I leave them there until I use them. Bliss.

No, I really don't. If I am not using them right away, they often stay in the bag or I just put them in with the rest of my stash.

I bought some paper on Sunday and haven't even taken the bag out of my overnight bag! lol Am I going to get kicked out for admitting that?

Not at all. I am a 'put away, right away' person. I once did not even realize I had been sent paper only and not the whole collection (sticker letters, die cuts, etc) because I just pulled it out of the box, saw who the manufacturer was and popped it in the paper rack. Thankfully I needed it a few days later and discovered the mix up...and the online store took care of me...but at least now I read the description on the package.

Me, me, me! I look at things for a bit and then I put my new paper and the matching embellies in a Cropper Hopper envelope that I keep on my desktop until I've used it a few times. That way I get t keep looking at (and use all my my supplies).

Yes, I still have the opened box on my dining room table. That way I can look them over instead of putting them away in the basement. what would be better is if I had actual time to use them!

If I shop in a brick and mortar store, I always say that I can't wait to get home and see what I bought! It's even better than in the store because I actually get to take my time and admire what I bought, rather than just throwing it in the basket in a mad scrapbooking frenzy.

If it's an online order I unpack, admire, pack back up, wait a few hours, unpack and admire again. I do this until I actually want to use some of the product, then I put everything in its place.

It's like better than Christmas. Every. Time.

Yes! Looking at them. And playing with them. Immediately. It's like I can't tear the box open fast enough to get my photos on the paper and start scrapping with my new goodies.

Yes, I do pretty much the same thing. I take them out, put them back in the box, take them back out later and smell them. Put them back in. Take them back out. Take them out of the packages. Looking at them and feel them. And then i leave them in the box or bag they came in to keep them away from my other supplies until the newness wears off.

Washi on the steering wheel. That might happen. Hehehe

Too funny. I always keep a bunch of the new stuff on my desk to drool over... LOL! That is, of course, the stuff that I don't have to "hide" from DH! I'd be keeping a LOT more on my desk if I could!

I always put new stuff on the end of my desk for a while so that I can gaze at them lovingly. Sometimes I'm even inspired to use them.

The only thing that's better is shopping with a scrapping buddy, then getting back & looking at what you BOTH got!

Yep....I love new supplies!

My DH would say I love new supplies better than I love actually scrapping....

I don't open the box right away....
Then once I do, I lay everything out on my desk and there it stays for a few days. I am constantly walking back into the room and checking everything out.

my usual mode of operation with new stuff is set it down and then it disappears into the abyss of my craft room... I just found some new Dear Lizzy Neapolitan stuff, still in the store bag, that I bought last May!

but yes, I have also opened washi tape pkgs on the way home from the store just because I need to see what it looks like! (I think I stuck it onto a stray envelope floating around in my purse, though, not the steering wheel... lol!)

I'm that way with any purchase that makes me happy: I'll leave the item(s) out just to be happy when I see them. I still leave my Tim Holtz stapler out because I love it so much.

Totally! When I get a package the new items seem to take up residence on my desk so I can enjoy both looking at them and using them. Then whatever is left gets put away once a new box arrives.

Yes, definitely. When I get a package, I have to take everything out one by one and thoroughly look at every piece, maybe coming up with some ideas on projects to use them on as I go. Sometimes I repeat, or just leave them out to prolong the happiness

I often savor my purchases, but it's usually days (if not weeks) after I actually purchased them. I travel a long way to visit my favorite LSS. By the time I get home the bag gets put on the scrap table and I'm rushing off to take care of the DDs or the DH.

I didn't realize until now that I *do* empty the bag carefully, savoring each and every scrappy treasure that now lives with me. But it's never when it first comes home.

Yes! I take them out and love on them and put them back in the box for a few days before introducing them to the rest of my stash.

I find it very soothing!

When DH catches me stealing a moment with them, he teases me about my "preciousssss" lord of the rings style.
