Please tell me your favorite small tape runner. I've been using Herma Dotto for years, but it seems to always get so gunked up and hard to move, especially the permanent! I like the dot adheasive and I like to use permanent and you know how you get used to a certain product, but it gets to be such a hassle and applying adheasive should be the easy part...don'tcha think? I would appreciate any thoughts and suggestions. Thanks!!!

I love the new style of Creative Memories drop-in refillable tape runner. SO much better than the old one! |

I agree....I am loving the new CM tape runners. Just drop in and go. Also, they come in white, transparent for use with vellum and strips of adhesive instead of a solid piece. Love them! |

I like the Glue Glider Pro. It is so easy to put the refill in and compared to the ATG the GGP is definitely smaller. |

I use the Staples brand runners that are $7 or $8 for two. They aren't refillable, but they go on so smooth and don't break or gum up.

The AC dot adhesive runner. I love it because I can still move things around when I first attach things but it is permanent and my layouts don't fall apart later. I also love that I can use it on really small shapes because it's not solid it only puts glue on the shape and you don't have to curl the extra under. |

Elmer's, Xyron. I have just about every small runner known to man. That way, no matter where I am or what store I'm in, I can buy tape refills! (At least that's what I tell myself...lol) |

Scotch brand makes a small dot adhesive runner. It is refillable and with a coupon, it's less than $4. I haven't had issues with it and I've been using this brand for a few years now. Also, I've seen Ali Edwards use it so if she's using it, must be something to it.

Cant say enough about it. |

Another Creative Memories tape runner girl here! I've never had anything fall off and have been using them for the past 15+ yrs. CM just brought back the mini-tape runner which is awesome for small letters/objects. |

Sticky thumb. LOVE! You have to commit though, not easy to reposition (which means it won't be falling off the page later). |

I use the CM tape runner too. I usually buy it in bulk on eBay to lower the cost. |

I love the Scotch dot adhesive runner (blue case) - I think it's supposed to be a replacement for the old Kokuyo runner. And also the 3L tape runner; there's a refillable one of those now. Hope you find one you like. Maria

I used CM for 7 years (the old one) but it started getting jammed all the time (may have been the refills; not sure) and I was getting so frustrated. Instead of ordering a new one, I decided to try something from the craft store. I ended up with the Herma Dotto and loved it until it started doing exactly what you're talking about; gunking up and not moving. I spent more time fixing it than scrapping! So I was giving it another shot at the craft store and ended up trying the Elmer's Dot runner and HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER!!!! I have not had any issues at all - they are inexpensive, refills pot right in and it holds very well! Try it; I think you will be very satisfied!!

Herma dotto removable is my can't live without adhesive. I do find the permanent gunks up. |

Another vote for the Elmer's dot runner. It's strong, you can move if you're quick, and as a lefty I have no problems using it. I've had problems using other tape runners because I hold them weird since I'm left handed. |
