When I use the Big Bite with Recollection eyelets, it smashes the backs.

I can't be the only one using the Big Bite.

Anyone? What eyelets do you use?

I use my BB to set eyelets, but I have no idea who made the eyelets since I buy them any time. Usually they come from M's or HL and would be there store brand. I have been able to successful set them. You may be squeezing too hard. I have found that if you squeeze slowly and firmly you can "feel" when it is set without squashing it. When I got my BB I practiced on a piece of paper with a few eyelets until I got the "feel". Good luck

I use my Big Bite with EVERYONE's eyelets including the large eyelets from the sewing department. THOSE work the best!

Anyway, remember to make SURE you change the back part on the Big Bite, you have the wrong back, it will mess up. Also go slowly, you CAN smash it TOO much.

The biggest key I found is to squeeze slowly and not too hard.
