Well worth the expense!
I have had Silhouette machines for over 6 years. The amount of money I have saved over purchasing embellishments and letter stickers has more than paid for both my original and Cameo machines!
There is a Cameo master thread here on this board, I would check it out for all things Cameo. |

I made my own journal cards today for project life, similar to ones being bought..by using designs from the silhouette store. I then cut out the card using the silhouette :0)
It is absolutely the best investment I have purchased for scrapbooking. I also have a heat press and use heat transfer vinyl and make my own tshirts, tote bags, etc.

I haven't gotten a cameo (yet) but I went to Archiver's with my sister the other night and got to see it in action. Just moved WAAAY up my wishlist! One specific thing we saw was while looking through the store my sister loved this pack of polaroid type die cuts but the pack of 4 was $5. There were almost identical designs on the Cameo and you'd be able to chose your paper (color or pattern). That was just ONE instance.
I could see so many ways I'd use this machine and I love that you can resize so easily. I have a Cricut (personal size) and while I like it, there are a MILLION more possibilities with the Cameo with the bonus that you don't have to buy spendy cartridges and not use 75% of the images.
Started up my penny jar to save up for one as soon as I got home! |

Yes! I just cut cute boxes for my sons valentines day party at school. I made cute bat boxes for Halloween not to mention that I've already used it many times for project life...and it's only week 4!
You won't be disappointed. |

I'm sticking with my Cricut for right now. Do you have another system right now? |
