I went to A's on Tuesday. I was there from about 2-6 pm. I made 2 mini albums for friends that are having babies. I got both albums done and only spent $1.04 on a couple sheets of cardstock that I used on those albums.
But wait, it gets better! I went to a LSS on Friday and spent the entire day and then some cropping. I was there from 10 am until about 10:45 pm. I made 20 life books for my dad (kinda like an auto-biography on the inside, but I "dolled up" the cover for him using scrap supplies), 55 cards, 2 layouts, 30 mini graduation albums for kids graduating this spring, and a wedding invitation prototype for a friend's daughter who is getting married. I was super productive!
The bonus was that I only spent $2.04. I bought 1 sheet of cardstock that I needed that day and 1 piece of paper that I am going to use on Niagara Falls pics this coming Saturday at another crop.
Here's the super bonus: When I went to check out, the gal said they were switching from the punch cards to a computer system of it. She asked if I had any punch cards. I had 2. All totaled, they made 1 full one. She said I had $10 in free money coming. But since I had only spent $2 all day, I needed to find $8 more. I was too tired. I couldn't find anything that I wanted or needed. I just paid my $2.04 and kept the cards. I'll go back another day, after I've come up with something I really need/want.

How's that for being a frozen pea?

That is amazing! I honestly don't think I could have made even one card without buying anything. I always start a project and think to myself that I need somethin like a light blue chevron, even though I have the perfect shade in solid, polka dot, stripe...but I must go to the store now to find a chevron. Sometimes I wish I didnt have an awesome lss that makes it so easy!

I am absolutely amazed at your willpower. I went to A's last week and spent more money than I care to admit. You are my hero

Amazing productivity and congratulations on your willpower! My guess is your free $10 will need to be adhesive soon!

Thank you for the cheers, everyone.
pelirroja, I won't use it on adhesive. I use an ATG and buy the refills by the case. I'm good for a while yet.

I think what I will spend my $10 on is these cases that I can make "card kits" out of. They are reusable. I have 2 and really like them and use them a lot.
