good evening, ladies!
hope everyone's looking forward to doing a little bit of art journaling this week.
here are the picks for this week:
brayer
distress stain
india ink
modeling paste
blue
triangles
don't panic if you don't have everything on the list - make it work for you. use substitutions, if you need to.
i know there are a few ladies that just wanted to journal - no art, so here's a journaling prompt for you:
"content"
are you content in life? if you are, what makes you content? if not, how can you get yourself to that point?
if you want to play along, have at it! post your finished piece either in your gallery here or on your blog and link up on this thread.
happy art journaling!

"our lives at times seem a study in contrast... love & hate, birth & death, right & wrong... everything seen in absolutes of black & white. too often we are not aware that it is the shades of grey that add depth & meaning to the starkness of those extremes" -ansel adams

Oh, how sweet of you to make the journaling prompt my "one little word" for 2013! I don't have a lot of the "stuff" prompts on this week's list, but I bet I can find something to do with blue triangles that have some Distress ink (not stain though) on them, maybe altering the "content" page I have already created? |

I added some things to an existing page, so that's why I have a nice page done so fast this week. The additions didn't turn out as I had planned, because the blue distress ink I had used to stamp the clouds has disappeared. I added some plants with green distress ink, another scrap of green paper and put the journaling (title) "To be content is to be free" on it, and added some blue mountains that I punched with a triangle punch.
