To anyone out there who is afraid of your cameo....Please don't Be!!!!
i've had my cameo for over a year. I purchased the Silhouette classes by Kerri Bradford on Jessica Sprague a while back but was still afraid to use the darn thing.
Well, last weekend I vowed to myself that I was going to conquer my fears...and I did. I haven't stopped having fun since. My husband thinks I'm crazy...although I think he is a bit jealous that I'm spending so much time with my new found love! I've made so many things over the past 2 weeks and everytime I think to myself....THIS IS SO EASY!!! why didn't I do this long ago? It's better therapy than even chocolate or wine!!!!
I am not very tech savy either...so please, please, if you have this precious machine sitting in your space collecting dust as mine did....give it a try. Even if you have to buy the classes...which I love because I will have them forever and ever...they are well worth the $$.
there...I just had to share my excitement with people who wouldn't think I was nuts!!!

I don't have one yet but I got a shape cut out from the Cameo at Archivers and used it for a sympathy card Hubs asked me to make for someone at work. Gave it to him last night & he says "You could sell this for $8!" I'm hopeful that maybe when I save up enough to get one of my own he'll put up slightly less of a fuss after seeing the cool stuff it can do!
Have fun with your new love!

I too can't stress enough the class by Kerri Bradford at JessicaSprague.com. I am not tech savvy either and I was intimidated with my original Silhouette. I had only tried a couple of times to use it and it scared me. I took these classes after letting this machine languish on the shelf unloved for 7 years and it totally changed my scrapping life. Now I have the cameo and I love it! In fact I am going to be selling my original Silhouette because it is gently used and cuts like a champ. I just wanted a bigger cutting surface. Love this machine!!

I have been in love with my little baby since the moment it arrived in October 2012! I've also found that the shapes in the Silhouette online store are killing me this month. I've used up all my credits and I don't get more until the 9th of February AND THOSE ARE SPENT NOW TOO! It's killing me! SO wish I had upgraded my subscription in December!

I got mine last spring and am finally acquainted with it! Loving the cut designs, how nice it cuts, and how easy the software is to use!

I got one for Xmas and I love it! I wish I used to more thought I don't always think to us it when I'm creating a basic LO and then I see all these great projects being done with the cameo and I'm like gee I really need to use it more! I've thought about pre cutting shapes but, I dk I gotta find away to incorporate it more often in my daily LOs!
