Quick question for someone with an ATG gun - could you look to see if there is some kind of a rubber band that is wrapped around the two 'black roller wheel thingies' (hope that made sense). Mine seems to be broken and hubby figures there should be something like a rubber band to connect the two rollers. The 'wheels' move around but the 'wheel' that the tape ends up on isn't working correctly so the used tape is continuing around and getting caught up with the unused tape which means the damn thing won't work properly.

I'm pretty sure that made no sense whatsoever, problem with being a non technically minded person.

I know exactly what ur talking about because mine does the same thing.. It only happens every so often, but I have to remove the paper that the tape comes on and re wind it back up! I don't know why but it's always happening & it's a pain in the butt! It only seems to happen when the paper is full! But I looked and there isn't any rubber band or part connecting the two! I can't return mine because I bought it awhile ago and don't have the box, I was thinking about calling scotch... If you can return it then do so if not call them & see what they say!

No rubber band between the wheels on my pink ATG, but I think the mechanism is in the back and not visible. I don't have any problems with mine.
