Has anyone done a comparison?

The reason I'm asking is that i am getting back in to scrapbooking and I'm considering taking the PL approach. I would like to try to use up a lot of my stash, so I was going to only purchase the page protectors and make the journaling cards out of what i already have. Has anyone done that?
So I was wondering if PL made the best page protectors. I know there are a few other brands out there that are very similar.

I have the BH/PL pages as well as WRMK pages. the WRMK are heavier and sturdier, but I like the BH/PL configurations better. I believe that WRMK had some new similar configurations at CHA but I don"t know when they come out.

Of course i had a hard time keeping up with the weekly spreads (um, i only made it through march - eek!) so i'm probably not a good one to ask

I have the echo park ones because that was what was available when I was buying them. I'm happy with them but haven't tried the others. I think I heard that the Becky Higgins ones were a slightly different size but if you are using your own supplies then it doesn't really matter

I have used BH and Echo Parks. I found I got a handful of miss sewn protectors in the big pack from BH and I haven't had any with Echo Park. I guess I could have sent them back to Amazon, but I was ready to start and didn't want to bother. BH's are thinner and her name is printed on the seam where Echo Park's aren't. It doesn't bother me. Heck, I use Office Depot page protectors and their name is printed on their's too.

I love WRMK page protectors beause they're so heavy duty, but I use the BH/PL design A for my PL, because I haven't seen that style from WRMK. Hers have held up well, though they are thinner than WRMK, but I think they're actually more clear, too.

WRMK is coming out with a BH Style A later this year.
I just had to return some BH 8.5x11 vertical page protectors because they are about 1/4" smaller in width than a regular page protector.

I know this will probably shock everyone but just in case it saves someone some money I'm going to post this.
Walmart brand STINK!!! They are not the size they say they are, everything has to be trimmed to fit into them. The holes do not line up with any of the 3 ring binders I have & they come apart in your albums.
Don't waste your money on them because even if you are on a tight budget this is a not a good buy!!!!
