Ok,
I don't think I ever posted a Cameo post cuz I don't have one. But I'm going to have a belated gift with Taxes. I'm torn between lens and Cameo. So please hook me up with some project inspiration...pretty please. |

One thing I love about my cameo is that it's made layouts like this even possible
This One
I cant even imagine trying to cut shapes like that by hand... |

Not detailed or particularly awesome, but I like that I could customize my title area with the state and the title of course:
Mammoth Cave
My favorite fonts to use are:
Pacifico
American Typewriter
Rustler
mr. & mrs. popsicle
I also check out themed dingbat fonts for images, which is where I got the Kentucky shape. |

The circles are one of the Kit Cut files from JBS Mercantile, but there's also a dotted background cut file in the Two Peas store that's a similar look.
And the font is called Ministry Script - it's a free download (just Google it!) |

Love that machine so much.
I use mine a lot in Project Life for doing cuts like this one - love how it becomes a way to "peek-through" the album.

The Cameo is AMAZING! I can't believe the details I can get with it.
It is also super smooth at drawing. I used the Chomas CReations adjustable holders with a full sized white gel pen to do this card with a sketch from the Studio store.
This one was done with a Souffle gel pen in the Chomas Creations adjustable pen holder. The title is a cut from Studio as well.
For this one I drew the 12x12 background with the adjustable pen holder and also cut the title from a font I have on my computer! The journaling thought bubble is a share on my blog.
The lined paper was drawn with the pen holder. It is also a design from the Studio store, as well as the scissors, apple.
I have over 100 projects I've done with the Cameo on my blog!

I'll add to my previous entry, I just finished a page yesterday that would have been impossible to cut by hand.

I have been designing more and more with my Cameo too.
http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/member/249656-katylouwho/1887991-atlantic-city-or-bust/
I designed and cut the background, cut the arrow with the bling and put every little piece of yellow rinestones on it with Martha Glue, and also cut the title and the mat twice. Why twice... well my brain that I was going to Atlatic City instead of Atlantic City. Argh. |

Wow Amy you've inspired me to draw more titles/elements on my page with my Gazelle! Your pages are awesome! I have some awesome fonts that I love, but they're not great for cutting...I need to get drawing! | |
