I'm making a bulletin board for 9 2nd graders. The teacher picked a theme of kids hiking, with backpacks, the wilderness etc. What we have is a 12' board that we leave the background up and change it up for each theme. It's a green background. One that are some tall evergreen trees and a flowing river. In the fall we had squirrels and turtles on the land and the kids sitting in canoes coming down the river. It's an interactive board. The turtles heads pull out to revile an answer to a math problem that is written on the turtle. Some turtles had science descriptions on them and the heads being pulled out had the word that was described. For the winter, we covered the river with white paper and made it a snow hill. The kids were skiing down the hill. We added snowflakes, snowmen etc. The squirrels now had scarfs with math problems on them. The turtles had ear muffs on etc. It's a fun board and everyone that walks but looks for more updates as the seasons go on.
So for the spring, we will be doing a hiking theme. That river will be changed into a dirt path with rocks etc. There will be more trees added. The teacher keeps mentioning that she wants backpacks on the kids, walking sticks etc.
Do any of you know a Cricut Cartridge that may have anything of what I might be looking for? Any help, thoughts would be appreciated. |

I would think Campin' Critters also. It has lots of cute animals hiking, and it has a 3D backpack on it too.

Pooh font - it has a really cool wood font. I love it for my outdoor pages. |
