I am getting ready to head to my first long weekend retreat! I am very excited!
Would anybody mind sharing their list of 'things to bring'?
I am just afraid of bringing something!

Besides scrap supplies, I always have Chapstick, lotion, baby wipes, hand sanitizer, Kleenex, gum, and contact solution (I wear contacts), and gum.
I have my tool organizer, full of everything I keep nearby (pencil, pens, adhesives, twine, washi, tweezers, scissors, chalk inks, etc)
Then I take either page kits or if just working on one theme like Christmas I take all my papers, stamps, embellishments, etc that match that theme.
Be sure to take extra adhesive!

I like to bring my OTT light, an extension cord, a to go mug if you are a coffee drinker, I also bring a fold up tv tray table to put beside me to put my tool caddy on or other items.
I bring some snacks that I enjoy as I find some crops only tend to serve junk food which is great but when I need a energy boost I need something better.
Maybe some sketches if you dont do kits, I bring my laptop so I can check out my pinterest board for inspiration.
Some ladies bring a pillow for their back in case the chairs are not comfy.
A 12 x 12 iris or an album to put your completed or semi completed layouts in if you do layouts.

Make sure you bring your basic tool bag loaded with the supplies you need to complete your Layouts. If you need tape runners bring extra, Xacto knife, ruler, paper trimmer, scissors ( usually more than one pair), Undo, eraser, writing pens and markers, liquid glues and other glues needed, extra cardstock. I pack early then double check my bag. I make page kits that can be completely finished at a crop, so mine are pretty detailed, but design yours to suit how you work. Comfortable clothes and shoes. Anything that would make you feel comfortable I would bring. Remember if you are driving you can leave extra items in your car, so do not be afraid to pack something due to space. Have fun.

|Posted: 1/31/2013 3:22:41 AM|These are great lists! I would add: BandAids, (B/c I stand to crop) a foam cushy kitchen mat, extra h20, and definitely earplugs and my own music! I love Adele as much as the next girl, but I can only hear a song so many times
Also, idea books, sketches, magazines, and Internet to get scrap mojo flowing. And empty page protectors for finished LO's.
Have a wonderful time!
