The sihlouette icon with a little dot under is showing up in my dock. When I click on the Sihlouette icon, the top line shows Sihlouette Studio. I'm unable to quit SS by clicking on Quit SS. By clicking on the icon in the dock, and right clicking to quit I am unable to quit.
When I open up the Applications, the SS has a circle over it with a line through the SS icon.
Also, I have an update to download of SS.
What am I doing incorrectly?

I would uninstall-just go to your applications from a Finder window and drag it to the trash. Empty your trash. Then shut down your computer and restart it.
Go to the Silhouette website and download the latest version of the software for macs, and then install it again and see if that works.

Restart your computer. The number one rule when troubleshooting is "restart".
Fixes most problems. Sounds like Studio is just hung up.

*denij1*.....i have never seen a circle with a line through the icon, otherwise i would have suggested just restarting too. so strange. well, hopefully she got it working!  |
